The Print Shop Johannesburg

We contacted Lee at the printshop in woodmead to organise printing of 55 small name tag stickers, 3 posters, 2 seating charts and 60 coasters for my wedding in December. We organised well in advance for them to design the font on examples we had picked from google.We were promised three days and followed up almost daily and told not to worry with confidence as the printing would not take long?Three weeks later after many emails and phone calls I went there in person to find out what was going on? I was told a job card was not even opened and that only R1000 coasters could be printed??? I eneded up dealing with the manager Nadia who reassured me that the job would get done asap and that she would follow up with me...A week later now one and a half weeks left before the wedding I was told they cannot do the job because they cannot reduce the coaster amount on their system? I was not offered the option of printing the other items and the design had not been started.Terrible experience and pathetic service, I ended up taking my business to jetline who finished the job perfectly at a fraction of the price!Zero stars

I wish there was a way to give this company a big zero. Honestly the most shocking service I have ever received in my life. I am not one to complain, but I ordered x2 photo books on the 2nd May 2021 and got them on the 22nd NOVEMBER 2022 after COUNTLESS phone calls, employee turnovers and a store just being shut down. No one would get back to me, no one knew where my order was and no one would give me a refund (which by this point I most certainly deserved). I kept asking for a refund and they kept ghosting me until they 'found' my books in storage. Honestly you cannot run a business like this, it is unacceptable. Thank GOODNESS for Monica - honestly give that woman a raise, because she is the ONLY person who was able to sort out the issue promptly and actually kept in contact.

If 0 stars was an option this place deserves it. DO NOT recommend this company at all.Placed an order and was assured over the phone and in writing that my order would be delivered in time for an event.Communication on their part is non-existent. I had to call daily to check up on the status of my order. I was lied to several times about when my order was completed and sent out for delivery. The staff blatantly lie to their customers which is horrifying.The only reason my order was delivered in time was because I called the courier company and begged them to deliver my order a day early than it was scheduled by the print shop.The salesperson who assisted" me

Hi. I placed an order months ago. I received an email months ago that my order was ready. I called and emailed several times. I was promised delivery of good 3 times already. I now cannot get a hold of you via phone and I've sent emails with no reply. How do I receive my order which I have paid for?

AMAZING SERVICE AND QUICK TURNAROUND. I got mugs printed for all my daughters grandmothers and grandfathers for X-mass. Karen at THE PRINT SHOP was amazing to deal with and always kept me updated. I will recommend them if you have any private or corporate gifts that need to be done. ask for Karen she is amazing to deal with

The mug ordered and paid for has still not been received and has well exceeded the delivery time promised. The land-line is not attended to and the answers provided regarding delivery when you eventually get ahold of someone are so inconsistent. They promise to get back to you and don't. Really poor service.

I wish there was a way to give negative stars because 1 star is generous.As someone who gets printing done weekly I have never experienced such pathetic service in my life! I needed a simple 10 page photobook printed urgently - all artwork was done and sent to them via email on Monday and I urgently needed it on Wednesday. They insisted the artwork (that they already had) be uploaded via their website but their website had an issue. Day after day went by with ME having to call multiple times and I even sent a video of the website error but not even the manager was helpful. I was told they would get back to me but nothing. Then on Wednesday night they eventually said they would create the order (what I had asked for three days before) and have it ready by 10am on Thursday. At 10 they said 11 at 12 when we fetched it was not ready and my husband with three small children had to wait around. At 2 it was not ready and we were told to come back at 3. At 3 it was still not ready!!! This was a gift for someone emigrating and I am currently still her at 3:10 waiting. I’ve phoned the Durban brand and jhb brand where I am and every time a manager says they will investigate and call me back they don’t. I will never use this company again and I suggest you go to minute man press or jetline who are far more professional.I eventually got it at 4…it was embarrassingly bad and I missed the friend it was for so it was all a waste. Please don’t EVER use this company

Phoned the place twice and they didn't answer. Finally on my third try i got through. A guy gave me his email so that i could tell him what i wanted but when i was emailing it, it showed that the email was invalid. Tried the next day and they answered, the lady was very nice and she gave me a valid email and said she'll get back to me. She ended up phoning me but i missed the call. When i called back another lady answered and told me that no one tried calling me but she'd be happy to help. I gave her all the details and she told me she'll email me as soon as she can. Its been 14 hours and i still haven't gotten a response!

Ordered business cards, they were printed skew and on the wrong template. I've sent 4 emails to all 4 email addresses regarding the incorrect print with no response.

I had prints made that was not up to standard. After waiting some time for something to happen I requested a refund. Roughly a month now and nothing has happened. I won't recommend them to anyone.
