This is what a road trip is all about. How lucky we were to come past here and make a coffee break at Klein Oqis.We ended up staying a lot longer and had some lunch too.What a wonderful way to break your journey at a place where you would least expect it.Thank you Drew for your warm hospitality, great food and great company.It was a real pleasure to meet you.

Any visit to Koingnaas should include a visit to Klein Oqis, where you will meet the enigmatic owner, Drew Cloete. From the warm welcome, the variety of local stories told so passionately, and food from the quaint restaurant (the one and only in Koingnaas) - and introducing me to interesting local folk - this visit will always be a highlight for me. What a gem of a person, who it was a real treat to meet.

This is a very nice place, i took my kids there after a day at the beach received excellent service and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend Hawaiian pizza, Drew your coffee is legendary keep up with your good service standards

Amazing experience at Klein Oqis Restaurant koingnaas, West Coast, delicious food, classic coffee, desserts, and passionate lovely people. We were privileged to eat with the Owner Drew, the most humble Guy on planet Earth, Lynette, Judy, real people with golden hearts ❤️.

What an unexpected treat in seemingly the middle of nowhere...an old mining town messhall turned into a Plat de jour type restaurant. We had a delightful pickled fish starter, followed by a tasty chicken dish with various salads, all for R250 with tip. To top it all convivial chef, Drew Cloete, entertained us from start to finish with West Coast anecdotes. Most enjoyable.

What an incredible experience. A must visit. The best burger on the west coast! A feat not easily accomplished. Friendly and helpful staff, even opens after closing time, called the chef back in, served the absolute best burgers, and gave the best service! Highly recommended.
