Not very private with rowers coming in and out with their own sets of remotes. But overall the house is big and beautiful and the beds are clean and comfortable. I love that it's pet friendly! My dogs enjoyed every moment of it. It would have been even better if the place had aircon.

Lynn was such an awesome and accommodating host. She ensured that the place was well cleaned, she understood that we were traveling from far and was so kind to let us check in early. The house itself was very nice and spacious, my dad who is in a wheelchair was able to maneuver himself around inside the house. There is rechargeable lights incase of load shedding ( no electricity) there is a gas stove at the place, there are row boats and kayaks available if you want to go for a row on the river. It is so peaceful and serene in the mornings. It is just over a Kilometre drive to the Scotsburgh main beach also a 400m row down the river to the beach. I will highly recommend this place for a nice getaway from a busy city. There are different settings around the house to relax and have a different feel which made it fun for the kids, a double garage to park the cars to save it from coastal atmosphere.

Tranquil,Beautiful,homely. I enjoyed the peace and quiet the home offered. Im really sad we have to leave. Lyn is an amazing host. Eric and Sylvia are super stars. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
