CalistosIf you are a lover of sea food, this is the place to go. We enjoyed the generous servings …. Prawn platters, sea food rice ( paella ) and their Portuguese chicken. The food was flavourful … a delicate taste to enjoy and savour. Service was quick and cheerful staff.Sadly the MANAGER in charge was very HOSTILE and did not believe in CONSIDERING the clients needs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Calistos Sun city. We came for dinner and from the start we were greeted with such warm service. The manager personally assisted us with the menu as our waiter was busy. Our waitor Waltor was exceptional too. Throughout the hour we were there we were checked on multiple times by the manager, door lady/hostess and the waitor. Not to mention the food came out so fast.

BEST RESTAURANT IN SUN CITY HANDS DOWN! food was amazing, especially their chicken and seafood. returned for dinner on our second night as well. Sbu the Chef was such a pleasant guy who assisted with a plated dessert for my husbands birthday...so friendly so helpful

I was here 2 weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food and service that I decided to take the family for a lovely supper celebration. Such a disappointment and embarrassment. The food came out nearly 2 hours later, completely incorrect with pork and beef for a table that doesn't eat pork or beef. Removed order and tried again and then food not cooked through and then again. The manager Sol tried to explain but it just went from bad to worse when we also got the incorrect bill. Absolutely crazy to think the amount of issues you can have at one sitting. And to top it off on that night nearly every table complained. You have lost a customer.

The waiters were very friendly and helpfull, eventhough they were full at the time they still brought out an amazing dish and it was still hot, their prices are good and it is a very lovley place, I just want to thank them for amazing waiters, and the cheff.

Good food, experience staff, some of them been here for over 10 years. The starter is very nice, spicy but very delicious, the mains are also very Portuguese, spicy and delicious. The restaurant design is also very interesting, the seatings is very good, they have a few sofa tables, perfect for the those longer dinner.

Save yourself the grief, don’t go to this restaurant they don’t have a clue how to run a business. Why take reservations when the manager told us he never looks online for reservations. Why would you order appetizers when the waiter assumes that you want it with your main meal. The food comes after an hour when you go look for the waiter and he brings the cold food to your table. The sole fish smelled so badly it was completely inedible unless you wanted food poisoning. Their idea of Greek Salad is to take a regular salad and throw in some olives and feta cheese, give me a break.Only reason this place survives because it’s in Sun City otherwise it would have closed down a long time ago. As a Public Service they should really shutdown.
