After careful consideration, I'm changing my original rating from a 2 to a 4.The reason being, that I have been a customer for approximately 14 years and I prefer to support local businesses. I was just very disappointed at the promises made to me after my last visit that I hastily jumped to a 2-star rating.The overall level of service at Lambinon Optometrists deserves 5 stars. However, after my initial visit on 25/11/2022 I was informed that I can expect my glasses to be ready within 5 - 7 working days (or maybe longer due to load shedding). I was prepared for this eventuality.On 6-12-2022 I was informed that my glasses would be ready by 15-12-2022.Then on 12-12-2022 I was informed that delivery of my glasses was delayed due to it being stuck at customs – the new ETA being 21-12-2022.I eventually received my glasses on 15 or 17 December.I appreciate being kept up to date about the progress, but I also feel that there was a lot of back and forth about the ETA. I had vacation plans and wanted my glasses before I went on holiday, which meant that the change in the ETA to 21-12-2022 caused me some frustration.Everything worked out well in the end, but it could have been a bit smoother.

Professional and friendly. Explained the whole process, was patient and kind. Was my first time getting glasses and I felt right at home! They deserve more than 5 stars sure!
