Wow! I planned a work function for 13 of us at De Eetkamer and it was wonderful. From the service and communication all the way to the remarkable and spectacular food, our experience was incredible. I wanted to thank the team, including Ursula, Chantel, Rishka, Layla and the chef, Marco, who all played a role in our amazing dinner. Our expectations were far exceeded, and we will definitely be recommending De Eetkamer to everyone who will listen. Thank you!

This is a fabulous restaurant with fabulous food, wine and service. We enjoyed a selection of small delicious plates of food, each with their own exceptional flavours. Deserts were equally good. Of all the wonderful restaurants we visited in South Africa, this one wins the 5 star review. Many congratulations to chef Marco and his brilliant team. It does get busy so do book in advance.

Such a pleasure to have dined at this charming, elegant restaurant with cheerful staff and beautifully plated, delicious small plates. Squid and tataki were my favourite. Meals well seasoned and packed with flavour.

One definitely needs to book ahead of time as this spot seems to be rather popular in Stellenbosch! Lovely new restaurant with earthy tones and a relaxed vibe. This was a perfect setting for our table of 10 pax. We ordered a range of the small plates and enjoyed sharing the dishes and experiencing a diverse range of flavors. Their wine list is commendable, offering some unique wines that we haven't heard of, as well as some of your well known ones.My favorite dishes: the butternut, cauliflower, pan-fried squid, pork belly and ALL the desserts!

Delicious cauliflower and mushroom risotto. Great wine options . Very attentive , but not over bearing , staff. Lovely, calm vibe to this foodie restaurant . They were able to seat me without a reservation for an early dinner before 7. Highly recommend

Exquisite dining experience with extremely tasty food. We thoroughly enjoyed the various small plates which we ordered. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.

Booking was arranged by my cousin who I was meeting in person for the first time. I would describe the food as being Tapas style although the restaurant seems to prefer the term small plates". The food is extremely flavourful. We all preferred different plates depending upon our palates. Service was attentive without being overbearing. I would return and do recommend."

An absolute jewel in a historic horse stable in Stellenbosch. Small plate servings of breads, vegetables and meat dishes to share make up what Chef Marco has on offer. Deserts are a similar offering. Great wine selection with some unknowns on offer. Brilliant lunch service, highly recommended. Book now, you'll thank me later
