We are still getting a bill for a COVID test a year later saying we did not pay. We had to pay before the test would be conducted. We paid via bank card, and our bank records show proof of payment which we communicated to PathCare.Their emails now borders on harassment as they are also threatening us with debt collectors.Can someone look into their terrible practice as fraud, please. And also, harassment due to constant emails claiming we did not pay. We will open a criminal police case if they continue to send us incorrect documentation that does not reflect our payment on the day of the service.

Absolutely money orientated, not patient. Rapid test done in Reception of Bay View, 20min later when Reception asked for results a staff member of lab was still walking around with the sample, wound not go until she got the medical aid number. Another 20min later and they will prioritize" sample now. Makes one wonder

My wife has pieces of broken disks on the left- and right-hand side of her spine since the start of the lockdown. These pieces of bone pinch nerves causing unbearable pain. An emergency operation was scheduled for 10 July 2020. On 9 July 2020 she was tested for COVID 19 at Pathcare Mossel Bay. The person who conducted the tests assisted several persons in front of us without cleaning hands once. No sanitiser at the testing point. I informed the person that my wife's immune system is zero but, she tested my wife without sanitising her hands after testing previous persons. That same evening we were shocked when informed that my wife tested positive for COVID and the operation was cancelled. Doctors previously told her that if she gets COVID 19 there will be no chance of survival due to her health condition. This news was like a death sentence and causes enormous trauma not only for het but, also for the rest of the family. She did not leave the house during lock-down. She only went for an MRI scan a week prior the COVID test. To date, 10 days late, there was not even a small symptom of COVID 19. This situation caused here extensive trauma and she had to live with unbearable pain during the quarantine period until such time that the operation can be re-scheduled. Not only is results of COVID testing done at Pathcare incorrect but, the chances to get infected during these tests is also great as the required safety practices are not followed

Shocking Service. I went for a Covid rapid test and they promised to send me the result within the next hour. 2 hours later I went back and they said they are still processing the results and that they will send it ASAP. I only received the results 2 DAYS later.

I've made a booking for my PCR test got a time frame and am 15th in the queue, tests started at 12h00, 36 min has passed and only 3 tests has been done. 12min per test, for the price we pay the service is absolutely terrible.

Terrible service at the Covid testing station. Prioritize people travelling over people referred by a doctor (which more than likely are Covid positive). Waited more than 36 minutes to get tested. Stood in the cold with people not adhering to social distancing protocol. Even saw people with no masks on or removing their masks. I had to ask several people to distance themselves from me while waiting. When I finally got into the hut to test, I had a rude gentleman walk in while the guy was trying to get the test ready for me. Thanks for interrupting. Your test was for travel not because you are actually sick. Overall a bad experience. Not sure why Mossel Bay did away with the drive-thru testing station.

Hartenbos pathcare : bloodwork taken, paid the bill in FULL on the same day (as per their policy for cash patients) just to receive ANOTHER bill one month later stating that I still owe them. Do not trust them. Keep ALL your records.
