Mini and Maxi Movers

As a disclaimer this review is based on my own speculation and not on any proven facts. It is possible that I am entirely incorrect and somehow the items got lost or were taken by someone else.I suspect that the labourers these guys use stole while they were moving me. With my move around R10K worth of watches disappeared from a sealed box that came out of the main bedroom and on further inspection is appeared to me that the box was resealed with a different shade of tape. The management at Mini and Maxi movers were really helpful at trying to recover the stolen items, but they said that they couldn't find anything. I don't know whether other moving companies are any better, but I wouldn't personally use this company again.

We have used mini and maxi movers on three occasions and we are always very happy with their service. Lawrence and his team are very accomodating and efficient. They arrived precisely on time and moved our items carefully. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for fast, friendly and reliable movers.

My son and his girlfriend were held at gunpoint, tied up, frightened and robbed in their flat. I wanted to move them out the very next day. Nono from Mini and Maxi movers made a plan, got the movers there that day, they helped us pack up, and moved everything, all for a great price. They were compassionate, understanding, and kind. I would recommend them highly. They really saved us. Gave us a feeling of hope, and care. Nono, and people like her, are the reason our country is great.

Mini & Maxi Movers helped me move from Randburg to Glenhazel. Their service was exceptionally good and they provided me with such a hassle free service. Moving has never been easier before thanks to you guys!

Do not use this company! I had items stolen from locked cupboards at both pick up point and delivery point. Owner threatened to Sue me if I went after his guys.

We used Mini and Maxi Movers on 27 November 2021 and would not recommend them to anyone.- They sent a too small truck and had to make two trips.- Clothing was stolen.- Boxes (marked fragile and with arrows showing which side was up) werestacked upside down in the truck which led to items breaking.- Furniture was damaged.When we reported this to the owner he was very rude and refused to accept any responsibility.

I underestimated how hard it would be to move a piano but thanks to Lawrence and The Mini & Maxi Movers teams i was able to get it moved seamlessly in quick and efficient way.They looked after it as if it was their own!!!Thank you so much, you guys really personify great service !!!

DO NOT USE THEM! Their staff steal. Our jewellery was stolen and management were aggressive and unhelpful. We have friends who had the identical experience (if only we had known). Search around online you will find many similar stories (eg on Hello Peter).

Amos and his team was amazing, friendly and very helpful, they helped us move on the 30 Jan 2021. The move was with out a doubt one of the easiest and most relaxed move we had, everything was done right. The Team was friendly and very helpful and went the extra mile for us, when we asked to move a fridge for us. Thank you Amos and team for a great job.
