With a menu that celebrates all aspects of the animals we use. We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The menu is extremely well thought out, the food was of a very high quality. I ordered the mussels as a starter and expected the old mussle pot with a garlic sauce and was surprised with a garden of flavors presented in the most beautiful way. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection. What shocked me the most was how well priced everything is. Great value for money. I commend the owner of this restaurant.

Christmas at The Blockman. We had a beautiful Christmas lunch with my family at this beautiful steakhouse.Had they garlic snails, really enjoyed the starter, I would however have preferred the bread on the side.For mains I had their ribeye, hmmmmmm beautiful, succulent, fresh and tasty.Our waiter was the best, he was friendly, patient and generally on top of his game.The overall atmosphere, ambience, look and feel was exceptional.I would definitely revisit The Blockman.

Lovely to say the very least. First time in a while we’d picked a spot for dinner on a whim and it exceeded our expectations.The service is absolutely wonderful, our waiter for the night was Seth who was efficient, so patient and polite throughout. The vibe is so accommodating for great conversation, food was wonderful too. Very well prepared and generous portion sizes.I’d definitely do this again, perfect for date nights too.

Great vibe if you’re there with friends. Not pretentious but still very upscale. Service was good. Was expecting a lot more from the food based on recommendations.Bone marrow wasn’t well seasoned and fat wasn’t reduced enough for my liking. The bread it came with was slightly stale.Meat quality was superb although the seasoning wasn’t up to scratch. Sides could’ve been better. Truffle fries didn’t taste like truffle. Bordelaise sauce had a burnt undertone and not well seasoned. Great cocktails.

Above Average; not sure if it was just an off-night but we had late lunch here and we had higher hopes than delivery. Beautiful venue and the service was great. A pretty well-rounded wine list and they even accommodated us with a decanter. However the cut of Pinchana arrived looking and tasting more like a beef fillet (the fat in the display cut unfortunately didn’t make it to our plate.). The pork belly was sightly underwhelming. Dessert was lovely and the salad was great.

This place is perfect.. parking is safe. You have options to dine at the front, and if you want something intimate, they have a space at the back, which is cozy and nice.The food was good. I just need to go back and try it again. My steak was perfect as per order.

Decor is warm and welcoming. Variety of cuts of beef that you can choose from. Waiters are knowledgeable about the cuts and maturity of meat. Meat is pricey. Enjoyed the signature prime rib with mushroom cream. Was delicious.Restaurant should consider serving complimentary bread similar to what the Grillhouse does.
