Ryobi Service Centre - Port Elizabeth

I took my unit to the them and the staff did a quick check while the unit was still on the back on my bakkie and were able to diagnose a simple adjust problem. great service guys, I am impressed. 4starsUpdate 2023.6.1 : took the same generator in for repairs early in May. Nearly three weeks later still no communication from them, I have been in store 3 times to follow up and every time the unit is with the technician". Now 2 stars"

Once again had fantastic friendly service from your Walmer Branch.Never had a reason to complain.

Dissapointing. Waited almost two weeks for an assessment/quote, after following up twice via phone. Quote is more than the price of a new lawnmower and no calls, explanations or other recommendations etc. received. Quote simply says new motor, new blades. Upon fetching lawnmower, staff attitude is poor and unhelpful. Lawnmower returned to me with on-button firmly stuck which wasn't the case when dropping it off. All round poor experience and harmful to the brand of Ryobi. Would recommend customers to rather take your business elsewhere like I am going to.

Very helpful assistant, but he promised to get back to me about a v belt for my drillpress. He never did, and I subsequently bought one elsewhere.

Non existence of service. Might as well close the shop down and not waste customers time waiting to receive repair quotes. Phoned 3 times, promised 5 to 7 days to have it. 2 weeks later not a word from them

Long story short. Terrible terrible service all round... I will never buy another ryobi machine due to the to the unprofessionalism and incompetence fom their service center. What was supposed to take a week has now taken 6... what a joke...

Your green tools which is cheaper are absolutely rubbish. A grinder was sent to you under guarantee and now you wanna charge for a new armature, brushes and hell know what else. I mean how can brushes be worn out in way less than 1 year. Its just a rip off guarantee. I am definitely loooing at another brand next time.

Been there once or twice and every time we got spot-on advice and amazing service.Recently took in a petrol brush cutter that would not start.The quote on the repair was very quick and faster than promised. So was repair and the price was unbelievably cheap with extras added in.Extremely happy and customer-for-life!

I did have work done here previously and found their service exceptional.Lately the same cannot be said.On 4.10.22 I handed in a Blower (which just had to be assembled) as well as a Chainsaw (for service).On 21.10.22 I phoned to enquire whether they will message me (as they have done previously) when I can collect the items. The lady replied they would and that a technician is busy with the items.I have also raised my concern on their website Q section.Needless to say, I have heard nothing.Same problem; when I fetched my tools on 23.11.22 I also handed in a belt sander and requested to receive a sms/call regarding the costs involved. On 6.12.22 I phoned whereupon I was informed that the sander is with a technician. (16,01.23) still no reaction.I again phoned at 9.49 am on 21.01.23 and the lady promised to return my call (after I asked whether I must hold on ). As per usual, still waiting.

I have only experienced very poor service from Ryobi. I took in my thresher mulcher in for a service and to have the blades sharpened. I was told I would get it back in 2 days. 3 weeks later I walked in and picked up my machine as I was tired of waiting. No service was carried out as I checked the blades - blunt as ever. I cleaned the thresher myself.Ordered a “V” blade 4 weeks ago. Still haven’t heard a word from them.DONT EVER buy a Ryobi. There after sales service is non-existent.
