Luvuvhu River
There is standard bridge crossing to Mhinga village in the South East .There are crocodiles in this river . The river enter Makuya Park through Masetoni redline gate in the North West .There is well-known river pool called Dongodziva immediately at the entrance into the two parks viz Makuya and Kruger National park. There is no road to the Kruger park here except the Phunda gate. At Dongodzivha, there good view point for watching elephants,Impalas Kudus añd other animals coming to drink water in the late hours of the afternoon.

Excellent environment . A long river. Not so broad. All kinds of bird species on the banks alongside the river. The edge of the river makes for an adventurous walking trail. Although lookout for crocodiles as legend has it that they can be found here.
