Just Perfect. But we might just have been lucky. It was for Lunch. It wasn't busy. Had the best waiter. So amazing service and the food was just so so good. Definitely going back for more. And the prices were better than I expected.

The food was ready on arrival. It was as ordered. The breyani was tasty- a bit too spicy for some. The curries were cooked well.Finding the resturant was a bit tricky.

Beautiful view of the ocean, poolside seating available which is lovely. The restaurants set up is amazing. Extremely neat and clean. All the waiters are very friendly and helpful. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and seated immediately. Collin Perumal was our waiter, he was so efficient with a vast knowledge of the menu, restaurant and surrounding area. He made some wonderful recommendations. We even bought 1kg of the complimentary snack, it's so scrumptious.The food was absolutely flavorful, each grain of the vegetable breyani was coated with the aromatic spices. The Tandoor paneer was a meal on it's own, so delicately spiced and delicious. The meat was falling off the bone hence their durban style mutton curry on the bone is a must try and it is served with basmati rice. You could alternatively order their Naan or rotis. Please do not leave without trying the fried ice cream, it is out of this world...a simple dessert which teases your tastebuds. It's an incredible experience for the tastebuds though...the first bite - you can clearly taste a creamy vanilla ice cream wrapped in a thin crisp dough, the second bite - you can taste fresh cream donut and the third bite - you can taste jalebi...what a thrilling way to end a fantastic meal.Thank you to the team at Thava Ballito, we enjoyed our 25th Wedding Anniversary lunch date with you :)

My wife and I dined at this gem of a restaurant for our 3rd anniversary celebration. The service we received from our waiter was exceptional and the regular attention from the owner was friendly and welcoming. The food was exceptional, and far exceeded our expectations. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of service and food on offer. Importantly, their curries include a complimentary side of rice, which is not offered in most high end Indian restaurants these days. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Poor table settings, definitely not a place for a celebration. Food was average and quantity less for the price. Service not the greatest, you kind of get forgotton about. No one checks on you, often have to search for some assistance. I won't go back again.

Such a beautiful venue overlooking the ocean. Been here twice before with excellent service and standard of food. From then till now, their standard of food and service has dropped. Very disappointed with our overall experience as we took guests that were visiting Durban. Unlikely to visit again.

We went at night, and were seated by the pool. I asked the waiter for vegan options so she called one of the managers and he was so nice!! He made a nan and vegetable curry vegan for me and the food was delicious. Thank you for the lovely service and I will definitely be back.
