Fort D' Acre Reserve

Had a really wonderful experience!Catering and hospitality top notch! Couldn’t have had our honeymoon at a better place!

This lodge is a very special place! It’s situated on a prestige game reserve along side the Great Fish River. The scenery is breathtaking and the beaches are untouched.The services offered by the management and staff is 5 star. I would highly recommend staying a minimum of 3 to 4 nights here.There are loads of activities available locally. One can go horse back riding, play golf, visit Port Alfred. Definitely do the game drives and see the abundance of wildlife and diversity of habitats.Thank you to all the staff for making this a memorable stay.

We stayed at Fort D’Acre for a weekend in Feb 21with friends and our teenage children. The staff are amazing and the facilities were perfect. We had the best of both worlds.!!We braaied burgers at the beach lapa after a morning on the beach, lazed at the pool for the arvie and topped off our day with THE most amazing sunset game drive! . So many baby animals on the reserve ! What an superb experience, right on our doorstep ! We will definitely be back! Thank you Eastern Cape for showing off - views to die for at FortD’acre! (They even have a wedding venue!)

I stayed at this reserve with a friend of mine from Mauritius in June of 2019, the stay was unreal! The food was amazing, the staff were great, the accommodation top class and the game drives exceptional! We would fully recommend!

Where Beach and Bush meet you find the ideal holiday spot!The lodge is immaculate and has the most breathtaking views! The staff are so welcoming and friendly and helpful. what an absolute treat to stay here!

An absolute gem along the Sunshine Coast!

A True Gem!We couldn’t have asked for a better way to say goodbye to 2020 then spending an incredible weekend at Fort D’ Acre! From the wildlife with all their new offspring to the breathtaking ocean views of the sun setting on 2020. There is a true sense of luxury and attention to detail, I could not recommend a tranquil, stylish retreat more! Thank you Fort D’ Acre, we will definitely back soon.
