Esmarline Lodge

Neat, tidy and well looked after... Quint but has everything you need. Only 10mins from the town. Gravel roads leads to the entrance. At least about 2km worth of gravel road which gets very muddy with rain. Easy to locate using maps and breakfast option for R60 per person. Good place to stay over for a weekend when you need to be in Brits for whatever reason BUT be aware: the other people" who book there don't have any respect for you. They play their music till late in the evening and then start early morning again even when there are rules about no loud music after 10pm. They play it so loud that it completely ruined the stay for me. Even when we asked them

Abe is a gem. Rooms need update. Kitchen in need of a table and chairs.some decent bowls. Road to lodge is in a terrible state. Lodge has potential.

Very nice place, however the sewerage smell from the male urinal that was in the unisex bathroom had a potent smell coming from it.AB was an excellent host, exceptionally helpful no matter what time of day or night. Could not ask for better service.

To get there is not a problem except potholes but to get to the actual lodge is about 1 .5 km of gravel road. Not recommended for a normal car.

The place is beautiful. Tranquil. Beautiful view. Wifi all around(Id love to know how). It is both romantik and kid friendly. Not a long walk to the pool. Except for spiders. ❤️ the place

The place was great and the people were very friendly. The room was clean and the bedding was clean too. I can't fault them in any way as I enjoyed my two weeks stay at their place, it felt like home away from home.

Ab is the best host ever. His meals are divine . As for his hospitality it's impeccable. The dirt road is just a small set back but definitely worth the while. Well done AB. I hope your bosses value your hospitality. Thanks for a great stay.
