Klaasenbosch Greenbelt Trail
Great shady place to walk the dogs. Quiet and beautiful with a river for water for the dogs.

Klaasenbosch Greenbelt Trail
What a wonderful and peaceful place to go for a walk and clear your mind. The trail is practically surrounded by a wide assortment of forest trees and plants, providing a cool shade, and beauty for the eye to behold. It's the ideal location to go for a walk with both kids and dogs alike.

It's a pleasant walk, but far more suited to horses than people - in fact, you will likely see more horses on this trial than on adjacent trails.Parking can be a bit tricky as the road is narrow, but best to park some distance away and walk.Overall, the walk feels relatively safe and secure and while there are fewer people on this walk than Alphen, those that you meet are all pretty friendly and polite. There's more sandy areas than one would like and with a bit of planning, you can have a decent walk along this trail. No toilets available along this trail and not really wheelchair friendly.

The most magical trail. Great for runners, walkers and young explorers! We found, and swapped out, some #capetownrocks. The ferns...the river...the fallen trees... it is all just pure magic!

Beautiful trail along the stream. Ideal for small kids, runs, dog walks etc. Even better after the winter rains.

Klaasenbosch Greenbelt Trail
Great place to walk and get the feel of being in the forest without leaving suburbia. Stream runs through all year round which is great for my dog who loves to swim to cool down in summer. My favourite part of the walk is a tall mature Yellowwood sitting in the middle of the path like a giant Christmas tree.

Klaasenbosch Greenbelt Trail
It's a natural mountain path. It was a bit slippery because there were a lot of fallen leaves and a lot of mud after the rain, but the fresh air made me enjoy taking a walk. There were many people taking a walk with big and small dogs, and there were also people riding horses. It's a narrow mountain path. There were small parking spaces around, so there was no difficulty in parking.

Klaasenbosch Greenbelt Trail
Such a gorgeous place for a dogwalk. Ideally, dogs should be in leash, especially since the space could be shared with horses. This can be restrictive if you're used to your dogs being walked off leash (and if they're well socialised and have good recall)

Lovely meander in the beautiful Constantia. Lots of beautiful trees and delightful streams to cross. Wear garden boots in Winter as it gets muddy. You're bound to run into friendly dogs, curious squirrels and bossy bikers. Stop for a refreshment at the Alphen Hotel after.
