The farm has really friendly staff, good rooms, and fantastic hiking trails. The accommodation is varied for all tastes ( manor house, self catering or private chalets). Dinner is a set 3 course meal ( always delicious) but would suggest they give the guests some choice to pre-select in morning, rather than choice of one option only. I will certainly go back. Thanks for the professional hospitality

Great accommodation and good dinner service. The lodge is fairly remote so remember to bring most of what you need to avoid driving up and down to find a shop

We stayed in the self catering accomodation and absolutely loved it. The sunsets from the view point were spectacular. The cottage is simple but has everything you could ask for. The beds were super comfy and the staff were friendly and super professional without being over bearing. We did a few of the walks which were full of fascinating plants, rocks, lovely views, buck, birds and even a few friendly meerkat. The paths were well maintained and very easy to follow. The place is so rejuvenating. Had lovely sunny July days and crisp nights under starry skies...can't wait to return.

Unique experience! Honeymoon suite (mountain suite 3) was incredible. Beautiful views including Waterbucks. Food was delicious (catered for vegan/vegetarian beautifully), including pack up lunch for long drive next day. Attentive staff. Highly recommend.

This really does feel like a retreat! The staff are welcoming and friendly. We had room 5 in the Manor House which was spacious and had good views from the bed. The stars at night are captivating. The dinner and breakfast was excellent. We stayed for one night but would've loved to stay for two. There are a few hiking trail options to choose from but we did the shortest one as we didn't have much time to explore. We will definitely come back here if we ever plan a trip through the Northern Cape again.

I really enjoyed this place! They make you feel very welcome and the waiter and chef is just amazing! They served such nice food! The routes to walk is great and the stars are really as amazing as on their website.

Didn't know what to expect as I didn't make the booking, but wow what a great surprise. The lodge is stunning and the surrounding landscape is simply amazing. The service was top notch with us arriving on a cold night, heaters in our rooms all ready switched on. The chalets we stayed in were very stylish and even featured an indoor braai area with stunning views of the natural beauty outside. The only reason I'm not giving full stars is because the chalets we stayed in didn't have any blinds in the bathrooms and one could see straight into the neighbors shower, which certainly wasn't ideal ;)

What an amazing place! Wow... absolutely loved it here - peaceful, beautiful, friendly staff, good service, delicious food. Everything was amazing. We even watched hartebeest and Cape hares from our balcony.

The Northern Cape isn’t for everyone. If you are younger you don’t always want to take the time to discover it’s hidden treasures. When you get older though you appreciate the times life allows you to slow down and this is where this place excels. From the moment we arrived till the morning of our departure we were always greeted with warm smiles. We stayed in the self catering accommodation and had all the amenities we could want or need. The best part however is the quiet reflection you get to have. The sunset looks like the sky is on fire followed by a blanket of stars as far as the eye can see. And then an early morning hike to find a heard of gemsbok curiously keeping an eye on you. If you are wondering if you should do it or not, go for it, the destination is worth the drive.
