Foxcroft Restaurant
We had a fantastic wine pairing meal, that was the culmination of 10 weeks in Cape Town. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. I have eaten at a number of excellent restaurants all over the world and this was among the most enjoyable. It is on the expensive side, but you get a lot for your money. Thanks for the wonderful evening.

We have been staying around the corner for almost three years now and eventually went last week. Very sorry that we waited this long!Really good service and a nice imaginative menu, executed very well.One point, it needs some background music to add to the whole vibe.Expensive, but considering the area and market I suppose it is in line.

Foxcroft Restaurant
We chose Fox Croft as it’s sister restaurant was fully booked. The outside tables under the oak tree where lovely and the service was friendly and good. The food however made us sadly both feel rather ill as it was so incredibly rich. The two starters were delicious but the pork belly followed by Lamb which we couldn’t finish made us feel rather ill due to the richness. The desserts were excellent and helped ease the nausea away, then sadly the last “thank you” treat was something so oily that it almost made me need to run to the bathroom. Sadly we left feeling we wouldn’t return.

Overall a great time. The Tuna was the highlight and the starting Brioche was perfect.Some suggestions:The oysters could have been more vibrant.The pork belly could have had some crunch to add some textural variety to the dish.The wine pairing was delicious and the sommelier knew his stuff and was so great to chat to.

Very nice restaurant with kind waiters and exceptionally good food. I was here for lunch and had a four course menu. There was the choice between two different meals for each course. Fish and meat choices were offered. The restaurant has a modern interior with a big open kitchen. Furthermore there is a huge wine selection. Parking is possible in front of the restaurant.

A beautiful, welcoming spot, the flavours are damn near sassy in how exciting they are.Portion size for the full menu is spot on, and the wines are spectacularCocktails are also insanely well balancedOur server Mike is a delight, and there were a few more of the team tending to us through out the day.Overall, it's a brilliant spot

Amazing small plate restaurant serving dishes packing big flavors. Course after course of delicious food with great wine to accompany it. For a casual classy dining experience you cannot ask for much more. You can feel that each plate has been well thought out and executed. We were 4 people and everyone enjoyed their choices and i got to taste most of them as well.

A true work of art of a dining experience. The set menu pulled out all the stops and did not disappoint in the slightest. Servers were friendly and attentive too; we went with the vegetarian set menu, but when our server learned we eat fish, she recommended subbing in a fish dish from the non-veg menu that was absolutely delish. The open kitchen is also a fun touch. Oh! And the oysters for an appetizer -- do not miss out on that deliciousness!

They have a tasting menu as well. We did the reduced menu where you can pick from the selected options of starter, entree, and dessert. They also have cocktails and wine for drinks. We got their Paloma and old fashioned. The food was also pretty good too!

MUST DINE HERE!! The food was absolutely marvellous. The detail in plating executed by the chefs and presentation by the wait staff blew me away. It's like stepping into a Food Network show. I love the kitchen view. Definitely a place I will visit every time I'm in Cape Town!
