I started by saying let me just go for one class and see how it goes. Well here I am 5 months later.The staff are amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go out of their way to assist you.It’s not a gym with mass appeal I guess, no fancy restaurants or mirrors on the wall but that’s not why I go here. There is no judgment on how you are working out, just encouragement.I’m happy I found this place, looking forward to continuing this journey.

Can honestly say that this is the best gym that I've ever had the privilege of joining!The coaches are great and really motivate you to do your best and to keep going when you feel like giving up. They also really focus on your technique to make sure that you are doing movements correctly and safely.They also have time-slots to suit any schedule and really supportive members!

This is my favorite place to be every afternoon! The people are amazing and the coaches are very friendly. No matter your fitness level or strength, there is something for you to do. I always feel comfortable and accommodated, and the admin is refreshingly efficient.

I joined ATG in February this year after surgery during 2018 which took me out of action for 14 months. I was a runner and enjoyed parkruns etc. Due to the surgery, I am not allowed to compete in running activities at all. A friend suggested I join Against The Grain to strengthen myself after more than a year of not being able to do anything.When I joined, I was enrolled in 8 sessions for beginners, to make sure you understand the movements, techniques etc. From the first day, the instructors understood my problems and assisted me to work around it.I am proud to say that I am now able to participate in almost all the exercises.
