One stop treatment

The service here is poor. Even if a potential client asks about the prices, the staff don't answer in a friendly manner. They honestly aren't inviting. They pretty much seem disinterested any look annoyed when you ask. Language barrier is another issue. 99% of the staff are from Cameroon, Congo or Zim. The one staff member either drinks Black Label, Brutal Fruit or Savannah on the job. The standard of work is also not the same. I go there for weaves and I insist on a particular lady. When someone else does my hair, I am always back the next day to redo. The nails lady is a joke. I even bled a little after she cut my cuticles and the overall job was shoddy. I was there on Saturday and had to come back yesterday because someone else did my hair and it wasn't right. The worst part is that they know me - I have been going there since March and for me to be dismissed and told that someone else will do my hair knowing full well that I spend quite a lot of money there and I always provide a tip. I was inconvenienced by having to come back on my Sunday morning. A lady came to collect a hair piece yesterday which she paid R1000 for. She wanted it dyed in a particular colour on Saturday and it wasn't ready, so she was told to collect yesterday morning. She arrived and it was not done. Of course, she was fuming especially because the 2 ladies who were on duty yesterday (and not the one who she dealt with) only knew about half of the job and couldn't give the client answers as to why her job was not complete, etc. I am there about once a month because I live in the area so it's convenient, not because the level of service is impressive and I only want to deal with one stylist. Honestly, the owners need to be more hands on and start training the staff on customer service, music levels, speaking to customers, handling requests and busy periods. They really need to improve.

My son is disabled and the staff make him feel very happy at the salon.

Edith the owner of the salon is super friendly and very professional as she was on time for our 7:30 appointment which was super early.. She did a great job with my hair as well. She did not pull my hair as well and is quite gentle which I appreciate quite a lot.I am definitely going to go back
