After having spent a lot of time in South Africa over the last 16 years, we finally bought a house in Stellenbosch to stay there during the South African summer months. Since we had very little knowledge of the insurance market in SA, we followed the advice from the seller of the house and chose Swiss Sure for our necessary insurance. On the other hand, we have extensive experience of the Swedish insurance market, so it is interesting to find out how the insurance market works in SA.When we came back to our house in January this year, we found that one of the glasses in the roof in our winter garden had exploded, and the consequences of this was extensive. We had small pieces of glass in several places and the awnings under the ceiling were damaged by water.It is a real pleasure to say, that the way Swiss Sure and Carola Kurz handled this was a very positive and surprising experience. Only a few hours after that we contacted the MUA SOS number, a glass firm came to repair the glass temporarily, and this was done with commitment and skill. When we somewhat later discovered that the awnings were damaged, it only took a few days to get positive sign from Swiss Sure to get so much compensation from them that we could order new awnings.The way that our problems were dealt with and solved was very impressive. Being a foreigner in another country made us curious about the result of our contacts with Swiss Sure and then Carola Kurz, and we are happy to say, that this exceed our expectations, and to some extent was smoother than we have experienced in Sweden.

Having lived in Jhb for many years, we arrived at Atlantic Beach Estate with a budget overburdened with insurance and security costs. Meeting Tony who introduced us to what Swiss Sure has to offer, on vehicles and household needs, gave a huge relief to our peace of mind and budget. Their claims process is equally super impressive: no fuss, and prompt with settlement.

We recently had a burst pipe at home. My claim was registered very promptly and once I had submitted all my invoices, my claim payment was in my account within a day of submitting my agreement of loss! Excellent service! My thanks to Carola for her great service.
