What an amazing experience to sit here and enjoy the beach and sound of the waves. This really is one of the most amazing places I've ever been to, the atmosphere and scenic setting was incredible.The same cannot be said for the service. It was slow, very slow. The restaurant was not overly busy so they shouldn't be so slow.I had the chicken espetada. It was good but not great. Had better at other Portuguese restaurants. My wife had the kabbeljou which was fresh and good.A great experience but the average food and shocking service means I won't return.

Lovely little seaside restaurant. Service was good. View lovely. Had the seafood platter for 2. Platter was good except fishcakes rather bland & mussels were cold so white sauce was thick almost solid in shell. Would rather recommend the seafood espatada. Considering it's a Portuguese restaurant...i expected food to be more flavorful.

Beautiful setting if you want to relax. The food is really good and I haven't had a dish that I didn't enjoy. The Hake&Chips is worth a try! The Peri-Peri Chicken, Sardines and the Alegria salad are all favourites. If you want to spoil yourself, try the Seafood Espatade

Jaw-dropping sunset views right in St. Helena. So glad I found this restaurant. It had a really nice twist to classic seafood dishes and steaks.A nice restaurant that also allows dogs is quite rare so we’re very happy that it was pet friendly.We wish it was a bit busier so it had more ambiance. The table next to us was screaming into the phone on a video chat but that wasn’t the restaurant’s fault.

Warraplace! A nice quaint restaurant with a view to kill for, the service is great, be sure to book in peak season as they become quite full. The food is authentic Portuguese and takes you back to the olden days when food was still food.

Not the best fish and chips. Steak for one of guests was average. Service from Mandela was below average.
