Where should a person start?...Heysbrook is amazing! we arrived on Friday night, so needless to say we could not really see much, however the cottage, where we meet our family (the cottage itself already takes a persons breath away!) the outside braai area, already makes you want to get a drink and braai perfect meat, then the inside of the cottage is so clean! we saw a gecko, however we named him Liam and he helped keep all the mosquito's out of the room!The next morning when we could finally see that we were in heart of the mountains, that alone made me want to be outdoors the whole day, which works out well, due to the Hiking trails a person can take! and I must say I finally felt myself relaxed for the first time in quiet a while..... there is so much more I could say, however then I might spoil it for the other people that still want to visit there, and I promise the place is amazing!

I had such an incredible experience at Heysbrook Country Lodge! The views were absolutely breathtaking. And it was so peaceful and tranquil. A perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city! The rooms are beautiful; fully equipped with an outdoor shower which was a wonderful experience.My only advice when you go is to either drive slowly up the path leading up to the lodge or take a bigger car.

The 4 nights we spent at the Tudor Cottage at Heysbrook were rejuvenating.The cottage is as described and the experience exceeded our expectations. Gerald and his team offered exceptional service throughout our stay. We’d certainly come back to experience this treasure again.

We recently stayed at Tudor Cottage within Heysbrook. The accomodation is spacious, clean and cosy. The fireplace is located between the lounge and bedroom area providing heating for both. There's a lovely view of the mountains from the cottage and a plunge pool to enjoy too. No need to leave the property as there are plenty of walks to keep you busy. The staff are friendly and helpful. Pleased that there is a generator to minimise the effects of load shedding for the most part. Be prepared to have little to no phone signal for most of your stay.

Wow what an absolute amazing experience from start to finish, The staff and Gerald is a extra bonus!! You can either self cater or Gerald and the staff will cater for you. Sit back and relax and experience the beauty Heysbrook has to offer, You wont be disappointing!!
