The President Hotel

If you're looking for a lovely day out, book a pool pass at President Hotel and spend the day poolside, being served cocktails and food by the amazing staff. You don't need to stay at the hotel to enjoy the amenities! Just book in advance, as they like to know a day before that you'll be there.

We have been there on May 2023 for 8 days.The good- The staff is extremely pleasant and service oriented. They are always smiling and eager to help.- The location is excellent, right next to the beach, a main street and a hop on hop off station. 10 minute drive from the city center.- The breakfast is quite good with a variety of choices.The less good- The rooms are average.- For every request you have with the reception, you have to follow up by yourself. You request for something (iron, towels, etc.) and they say ok, in some cases nothing is happening and you need to call back after a while to make the same request.- We had an unfortunate issue with our Wi-Fi in the room barely working. We have notified the receptionist and costumer relations representative several times (on a period of 3 days). Only when Ashly from costumer relations took over, things actually moved forward, he came to the room, made tests and really tried to solve it. After a day it didn’t get better, and we moved to a different room, which was an upgrade (bigger room) and the Wi-Fi was great over there.

Great service and good food! This is a lovely hotel and hasn't disappointed before.Unfortunately, on this stay, we had a few unwanted guests (cockroaches) in our room. Luckily, this should be something that management can deal with and resolve easily for future guests.

I stayed at the President hotel for one night on a work trip and sadly the hotel is not up to standard.Location is excellent however the overall hotel experience is quite disappointing.The shower in my room was not working properly and the water was warm. Even upon housekeeping fixing it, the problem was not solved.I ordered a scone from room service for after tea - only to be served a stale and very hard scone.Plugs are outdated and don’t cater for 2pin plugs - but you can purchase one from the hotel for R100.Had to wait a while this morning to be seated for breakfast - the dining seat up is not large enough to cater for a full hotel and service overall is slow.Seems to be the hotel of choice for airline staff & conferences.

We had a family breakfast here. It was lovely. Beautiful and vast variety of food. Very kid friendly. The outside looked amazing too. It's is definitely a place that we would consider for a night or two! But in the mean time, we will definitely treat ourselves to the breakfast buffet, you should too!

Our experience staying at The President Hotel with our large international wedding party was fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Outside of the incredibly spacious rooms, great outdoor pool area, and the amenities - the hotel staff were so accommodating, always available to answer our questions and provide assistance when needed. They even helped us arrange transportation and tours for many during our stay. Definitely a win for large group bookings and would highly recommend them!
