Thank you so much to everyone at the AmaZulu Lodge for a fantastic visit. Special thanks to Diane & Michelle for all the arrangements & easy organisation of my tours & arrangements of breakfast. The room was spacious and the staff cleaned everything nicely on a daily basis. It made the entire experience worth it and definitely the moneys worth. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience St Lucia while still having access to cosy facilities. Such a beautiful place close to everything in town. You will definitely see me again!!!

Location is perfect, but that's about it. Rooms are dingy. Felt like I was camping. Bugs everywhere. Fridge, heater and TV didn't work. No back up generator available during loadshedding. Rooms were very cold. Wifi did not work in the rooms; only a little bit by the pool. Sheets were not clean. Check out extension was promised; yet the day of check out they reversed on what they said and kind of acted like I was making it up. Good thing I had an email to show I had requested a checkout extension. Regardless it didn't matter I was forced to check out at the regular time. Very unprofessional front desk staff. There's so many other places you can stay in the area I would skip this place.

This is an absolutely lovely place to stay in, you‘ll be able to find everything you can wish for. The confort is absolutely great, while still being not too European, the rooms are really great to make you travel! The breakfast is also really nice

Michelle, is a star hostess! She was very welcoming and catered to all our requests. As we were there to celebrate a birthday, she made our stay very pleasurable and set the tone for our festivities. The establishments pool area is very clean and well maintained, and that can be attributed to the dedicated maintenance staff. The rooms were immaculate! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would want to visit in the future.

Staff were amazing , friendly and extremely helpful; sometimes going out of their way to accommodate my wishes. The room was really comfortable with lots of space and a bed more comfortable than mine at home! Will be back!

Arrived in our room and the monkeys had been there before us. On day two we requested new water bottles and were told we only get on day one and we must buy our own but the rate remained the same.Breakfast service was slow but the staff were friendly.Bathroom floors sticky and no staff after 16h00Used to love this place however this will be my 5th but unfortunately will be our last visit. Time for a new place

I arrived on the 26 Oct 2022 with a group of eight international guests. On arrival we noticed that there is no electricity due to the transformer serving that part of town was inoperable. Sarie, the owner, as well as Charmaine and Diane assisted all of us to make the stay as comfortable as possible without electricity. International guests need to be mindful that electricity loadshedding is in the order of the day in South Africa. Furthermore the South African Tourism Industry suffered financially heavily during the 2.6 years of Covid 19. Most lodges and restaurants need to pay of loans before even thinking to buy expensive big generators for back-up electricity. The management even reimbursed guests that had very little understanding for the electricity problem in St Lucia. At the end the transformer was serviceable by 11:30 on the Thursday and all were happy. So lets be patient and not let the loadshedding with its associated inconvenience affect our great adventure of travelling, meeting new people and building memories and to learn patience and human cooperation to move ahead. Well done to all the staff at Amazulu
