After initially being assisted by Stef, i was overwhelmed by his passion for hair and people. I had finally found a decent stylist that would listen to me, and provide options!However, that was short lived when i tried to make another appointment via the whatsapp number provided. After explaining my situation and what i was wanting, i was invited in for a consult" with Cindy. Well

Needed an emergency hair cut for a special occasion and may have accidentally found my new favourite hair dresser. Professional, great advice and good conversation. Walked out.loving my new haircut!

Booked a trim with the Entertainer App for 2 - receptionist failed to notify us that one hairstylist took a day off so had to go one after the other - a wait of 45mins. Stylist then trimmed off over a third of my hair instead of the 5cm I asked for.

My only drawback was that my partner had gotten me this haircut as a gift and was quoted R1100 for cut & colour. It ended up being over R1700?! Although I do wish the colour was darker, at least regrowth won't be a problem. It does seem closer to my natural colour after washing - can't really see that it's been coloured.

I love going to StyleBar- been my go to hairdresser for about 5 years. I trust them with all variety of colors that I have made my hair over the years, from rainbows to silver, to pink and now blonde. Best service and advice.

I have boy short hair and wanted it straighted.. Most hairdressers charge for that short bout 800 to 1000, they charged me 1500..i was utterly shocked and disgusted by the cheek of it. Won't be going back

I felt the hair dresser was very ruff with my hair. So much pulling. My hair was highlighted way to light and felt she didn’t really listen to what I wanted. The product she used on my hair burned my scalp but didn’t seem to bother her. I kept on asking if it was normal to burn so much. My scalp was sore and sensitive for two days after.I wasn’t happy with the service or my hair.UPDATE:So in the end. When I went to my new hair dresser she pointed out that my hair was two different colours. My left side was a different colour than my right.They also sold me the incorrect shampoo. I required sulfate free. Now my Keratan treatment has been stripped too.I had to pay R4000 + R1200 + the price for the hair and shampoo.Then in the end had to spend money on an amazing hair dresser that could actually fix my hair.They are so over priced and inexperience.

I've been going to Style Bar for about 7 years now, and Stef has always taken great care of my hair and kept me looking fresh and sharp. I cannot recommend them highly enough for the brilliant work Stef does, and for the professional and friendly service the whole team provides.

Absolutely love coming to this place. It's always such a treat to be greeted by friendly staff and pampered with a head massage while my hair is washed. Stef always does a great job and goes the extra mile with my styling. I was super nervous about colouring my hair for the first time but took the leap of faith. Stef did a balayage that was so subtle (as I requested) that everyone keeps commenting on how lovely my 'natural' hair colour is.
