Complete scam, they 'fix' the TV, it works for a few days and they promise a 3 month warranty. Once you've told them it stops working, they reply with a laugh... They know they are scamming people

Two guys came out the same day to repair our TV. The problem was that the back-lighting was faulty. They took the the TV apart and showed me the problem . David allegedly sorted the problem out and they took my R1100 without giving us an invoice or any form of warranty on their work done. The TV worked for 6 days and the back-lighting has gone again. I phoned their number repeatedly and Sam got back to me saying that he would try squeeze me in the following day(16 June 2022) but he never contacted me again until I called 2 days later and he gave me David's number which I also called repeatedly and when I spoke to David and explained the issue he said he couldn't help as he had no transport. 2 days after that he promised to call back to sort this out and now his cell number says its disconnected. Very disappointed in them and feel betrayed and robbed. I gave the small business a chance and it blew up in our faces.

Not to be trusted at all. Two men come to your house. One sits in his car, and the other works on the TV. After assessing the TV, I am told the backlight is broken. They decide to take the TV back with them to the workshop. TV comes back the next day, within a few hours, the same problem exists with some new added problems too. Tried over 6 months to reach out to them to explain that the problem still exists. I just get ignored. Once this company gets paid, they will never reply, nor get back to you. Terrible service. R1500.00 gone and I still have a broken TV.1 0ut 5 Stars is too high of a rating for Platinum Appliance Repairs.WARNING: STAY AWAY.
