Cape Town Municipal Court

Staff is friendly but the system not so much. Been offline since I got here almost 2 hours ago.

Very helpful team when it comes to sorting your fines out. May take a while but worth it at the end.

I did not hate the court. One does not feel safe going to and from the court. Lunch time is also a time to be aware of where exactly you are waiting.

3 stars since finding the place was abit of a nightmare.For those that need to go and you are driving, keep the following in mind. Google maps will take you to a spot in Adderley street that seems like nothing, especially when its dark. There is no parking around that area, there are spots for 4-5 cars right at the front but its full. (You can drive down the ramp if you head up onto what looks like a pavement)So to find the place, I parked at the taxi rank parking which has multiple floors, I parked at the top and walked across the bridge that takes you into Cape Town Station. When you leave the Station, walk in the direction that the maps directed initially (Adderley Street), it won't seem like much but there is a ramp that is only visible when you get closer. It was dark at the time I went because it was early morning in Winter.The other option is via Golden Acre mall, from the Shoprite entrance, head down the stairs all the way out of the mall and you will see the offices at the bottom section.Other than finding the place being a mission, the staff were very helpful and I was able to sort out my issue with the summons.

Been here since 8am, at a date given to me by the court. Magistrate came in and then disappeared into the abyss .No one knows when he'll be back. So here i sit.

Pace overflowing with clients needing service. One window open and that person went on a tea break 40mins ago. Place is a disgrace.

Best service I've received at the Municipal Court. From the security guard, they all offer you a chair to sit down. Stuff were very friendly for a Friday afternoon. I didn't even spend 15 minutes there. I would not say the same when it come to the Parow Municipal court. The only issue is that it is not situated in an easy to locate place. So much under ground but very clean and neat. Parking in the CBD is always a disaster.

Services weren't as slow as other government services. Not all staff were friendly but were helpful and my issue was sorted fairly quickly. A bit difficult to locate if you don't know exactly where they are. They are located undergound in the Grand Central, below Strand Street and close to the Woolworths.

The location has now moved to Golden Acre.Great quick service. Thank you to the gentleman at the cashiers desk for staying an extra 10 min to process my payment. Much appreciated

If you're reading this, you also have no clue where to find the Traffic Court.It is directly under the road intersection of Adderley and Stand.I parked at the parking garage next to Grand Parade (the bus and taxi rank). And headed into Golden Acre shopping centre. From Mc Donald's head down 2 flights of escalators and to Markhams and you should be able to the see municipality courts from there.The staff are helpful and had my fine addressed within 20min.
