I am a bride and I requested a quotation a long time ago, I can't even remember when that was. They excused themselves because they were busy, and requested my budget which I hadn't disclosed, because for me it was irrelevant. I sent a budget of R130K which was my minimum budget for the wedding. They then ignored me for weeks. I sent a follow up email, and their response was that I have a good taste but my budget is too limited but they will send the quote the following day. That was last week. I waited until Monday where I sent another email requesting the same thing. They ignored it. What confuses me is the relevance of my budget to their services.If i have R200 and what i need costs R250, it is my business to withdraw and look elsewhere. The service providers have no platform of saying my budget is limited because they have no clue about my resources. I have requested quotations from the most expensive venues, bridal botiques, salons etc. in the country and none of them requested my budget but they gave me a quote of what I needed and then I had to decide.
