Miller’s Point Tidal Pool
Another tidal pool leaving your breathless. A larger area to walk around with ruins, large rocks and little beach, and a funtastic larger tidal pool to swim or snorkel or use the slide. The waves of the ocean create wonderful splashes, and the view of the mountains and sea is mesmerizing.

Miller’s Point Tidal Pool
Beautiful tidal pool, several marine species can be observed here including starfish, small rock fish, anemones, sea urchins, and oyster catchers.Good for snorkeling or a swim, water is refreshing but not unpleasantly cold. Plenty of large rocks to climb onto, although they can be quite rough and pointy if you aren't wearing shoes.Beware the sea urchins if you're wading between the outcroppings of rocks as standing on one can be very painful. Additionally, avoid any baboons as they can be aggressive.

So difficult to find a swimming spot not horribly over-crowded at this time of year. Clean too.

Highly recommend for a kelp forest snorkle experience. Don't even need to swim far to see the amazing underwater world.

Lovely picnic on the beach with friends. Not many places to find that are sheltered from the wind or sun, so bring your own. And watch out for baboons!

Miller’s Point Tidal Pool
This is surely one of the most beautiful tidal pools in Cape Town and a true hidden gem... It can be a bit tricky to find as it's nestled just after Simon's Town and you'll have to take the second turn-off to Miller's Point. From there, you'll come across a few boat launching sites, fisher boats and many many seagulls, but when you make all the way down, you'll get to Miller's Point Tidal Pool. It has braai areas, picnic spots around the pool and even a little waterslide for that extra fun!Although it's quite a secret spot, people still find it and you should arrive rather early to grad a good spot. On weekends and during the holiday season, they also charge a super small entrance fee for kids and adults.

If you traveling from Cape Town to Simon's Town you'll appreciate the scenic route towards Miller's Point. It's really beautiful. The walk down to the tidal pool unfolds as you approach the coastline unveiling the natural environment. It's a calming and humbling experience that is meant to be enjoyed with friends. Live in the moment and appreciate our home, Earth.

What a beautiful place. Only problem you are not able to braai at the venue.

Had a very enjoyable day. Unfortunately the toilets are revolting and have not been clean in a long time. We had an issue with a male baboon but it was dealt with swiftly by the rangers. I will advise thought that mom's with small children not go alone.
