My elderly mother was having problems with her car not starting and cutting out during idling. I found Colin and his team on Google, and after reading all the positive reviews, I contacted him.They fetched my Mom’s car from her premises, and from that day Colin himself kept me informed every step of the way. While fixing the first problem they discovered a few other issues which they sorted out. The outcome was that she ended up with almost a brand new engine in her 1998 car. I would highly recommend Colin and his team for their thoroughness and professionalism.

From start to finish it was clear that the team at Jump Mobile Mechanics knew exactly what the issues were with my vehicle, showed me the issues clearly and had a precise step by step plan on how to fix it. After many terrible experiences with numerous mechanics, I eventually resorted to a DIY approach, which worked well at first until I broke the timing belt on my car. With a very bruised ego, I hopped onto Google and the search began to find a reliable mechanic. Now in my experience, those two words go together as effectively as oil and water. They simply don't.That is until I sent Jump a message on Whatsapp and explained my predicament.Within 10mins I got a call from Colin who then had one of his mechanics at my house the next day to assess the damage. (No charge)A day later I had a quote, by the end of the week with the help of the AA my car was at Jump and less than a week later, I had her back again. (Head gasket, water pump, thermostat replaced, valves reconditioned etc.) It was a big job that was done thoroughly and efficiently. Colin updated me regularly on the progress and even sent me some photos/videos of my car running smoothly again. He explained what needs to be replaced and why and even paid for my Uber to their premises to collect my car.I am extremely impressed with the service I received and would gladly refer friends and family to Jump Mobile Mechanics! It is not often that you find a reputable, honest private repair shop anymore. But Colin and his Team were incredibly helpful at short notice, found the root cause which turned out to be a faulty radiator cap, conducted a full service and invoiced at their quoted price, which was in itself incredibly reasonable for the work done. I will be recommending his services to all my friends in the Bryanston area. Great Job!
