We spent new years eve here. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. The new management really went out their way to cater for all the patrons and their needs. All the best to the new management and thanks for going the extra mile

Certain items in the food baskets were advertised. I had missing items in my basket compared to what the menu said and it was only when I asked when they mentioned that the missing items were not available. I was fine with this and continued the night after they apologised and told me they added an extra chicken strip :DVegetables (brocolli & cauliflower) was raw. No idea how that happened. Very easy to at least boil the vegetables. I'm not referring to crunchy veggies. The veggies were raw raw raw...None of this made me want to write this review. We eventually got our bill at the end of the night just to see an additional R200 added to the bill (R50pp). When I asked the waiter, she told me it was an entrance fee for a concert (the guy probably sang 4 songs) they never advertised or communicated to us when we arrived at the restaurant or when we made the booking via phone call.I can handle bad service and bad food but don't be dishonest and don't hustle tourists over the festive season. This occurred on the 16th Dec 2022.

This place has loads of potential. The waitresses were friendly and prompt. Pizzas well priced but the could do with a little more encouragement (less/no cheddar, more mozzarella and more basil). Very cosy pub with a great country feel, but would suggest removing the beer taps from the bar (there was no beer on tap) rather than getting the the hopes of thirsty visitors up.

With all the lovely eating places to visit, we went back the next day to the Bush Pub. Service above and beyond. Especially Sean, you are a huge asset to Price Albert Bush Pub. Good selection soft background music with lovely tranquil atmosphere. Well done. Anne Marie Middelplaas Paarl Guesthouse

Bush pub is a bit rough around the edges, but I guess that is what the owners were going for....more of a pub vibe with pub food.

We arrived a little early (before they actually opened - 20 minutes) and we were accommodated with drinks in the meantime. We ordered delicious “build your own pizza”! It was nice a quiet and we sat outside with a bit of mountain views. Lots of parking available. Everyone was friendly and we had a great evening.

The pizza is very good. Nice crispy crust. Service was quick. They do not serve tea. Decided then on a milkshake, but then there was no ice cream... At least they agreed on making a cup of coffee. Only half a glass of wine, because apparently according to the bar lady, it is etiquette, but full price still. Atmosphere is lacking a bit. Place is cold, no background music and loud bar lady. Other guests also asked for some music. Will suggest visitors to rather order take-aways, as to not miss out on the good pizza.
