Everytime I've been there it's been great laughs, good vibe and can strongly recommend everyone to them. Their designs are solid, process is professional and it's obvious they take pride in their studio etiquette. Bang for your buck which will make you wanting more.

Hello Matt and other readers.I am highly disappointed with the service I recieved or lack of. I walked into Wabi-Sabi tattoo studios in December and met with Matt. We started off well and discussed my tattoo idea which consisted of just two sentences(8 words) and a price was quoted. I enquired if we could do it immediately and was denied, which I respected because he works by apointments.I came in 2 days later to follow up with him to set a date, but was ignored and was not taken seriously until I payed a deposit. I proceeded to pay the full price of the tattoo plus extra because I was excited that it would be my first tattoo. I want to establish that I never signed any consent form or legal document binding me to any clause. I didn't even receive a receipt of payment after paying.I proceeded to wait 2 days until my appointment. During this wait I experienced very unlucky circumstances, where I had no working phone or vehicle. I managed to make it to my appointment 2 hours before hand to try explain my situation and to continue with my scheduled appointment. I was not offered any help and what proceeded to happened next shocked me.We we're dicussing the two fonts that I was considering and asked if Matt could move a little so I could sit next to him to look at it as well. He procceeded to make a scene infront of his peers stating that I was crossing boundaries and that he had issues with me since he first met me(Which I was not made aware of prior). I don't know what reaction he desired from me, but I tried to explain my side of the story. Sadly every single time I tried to say something I would be cut off and spoken over. He wanted to humilate me for some reason it seems. So I decided to walk out and not take that abuse.After I calmed myself, I decided to walk back in to try speak to Matt more so we could continue. Matt continued to publicly humilate me and tell me that he refuses to continue with the scheduled appointment. He stated that he would only refund me 25% of my payment which he never stated prior either. After hearing this I left and sent him a text stating how I feel.A few weeks later, I decided that I would try contact him again and see how we can proceed with this matter. I notice that he blocked me on Whatsapp and on my phone number. I messaged him on Instagram and was ignored further and then eventually blocked there too. I called on another phone number and got ahold of him for a brief moment where I was spoken over again, then hung up on shortly after and blocked.I am saddened by these events as it was never my intention to cause trouble or for the events to play out like this. I still hope to discuss this matter in a civilised manner going forward, but have decided to write an honest review now of what transpired to me. I think it would be fair for me to be refunded for what has happened.RegardsTristan

Went in earlier this week for a tattoo and all I can say is it was phenomenal. Matt and the gang are super friendly and helpful. I would recommend coming here for tattoos. Wabi Sabi produces high quality tattoos! Thanks again Matty.
