Honestly one of the best experiences I've had. The food was top class, the owner and his wife are great! Loads of fun being had in the kitchen, singing dancing and can truely see the passion. Will be going there again as soon as possible!

As tourist staying near Stellenbosch we looked for a restaurant and stumbled upon Bella Stella. Greeted by the friendly chef we sat at a cozy table outside. The social chef (who cooks outside for everyone to see) talked friendly and was amazing company. This made for a cozy and welcome atmosphere. With this in mind he brought us an amazing charcuterie platter and some oysters all of which were amazing. Following with one of the best oxtail I have ever had made for an unforgettable night. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the Stellenbosch area!!

Oh my goodness that was ridiculously amazing food and all cooked in the pizza oven. Hands down the best Italian food outside of Milan. Massive congratulations to the entire team. Truly spectacular . 10000 out of 10. Will be back .

A gem in Stellenbosch, tranquil with beautiful art eye catching pieces. The server was attentive and courteous. I ordered the mussels as a starter and was taken aback at first when it arrived as it was totally different to what I expected but absolutely delicious. My partner had the tuna tartar which was divine as well. Mains I often for the oxtail and my parter the lamb gnocchi which was really good. We'll be back for the pizza's soon. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Outstanding. Authentically Italian. Probably the best pizza I've had. Lasagne was a masterpiece. Many vegetarian options. Chef was accomodating to providing a gluten free option. Stunning venue. Great atmosphere and service. Definitely the best Stellenbosch eatery I've found - will be back.

Amazing, authentic Italian restaurant nestled in Morgenhof! The chef is so accommodating and approachable. The service is fantastic and the food even better! What a magical Valentines day! We'll definitely be frequenting this gem.

Wow! How lucky we were to be able to visit Claudio's incredible place during our trip of SA. It's quite possibly the BEST Italian food outside of Italy. All handmade and high quality ingredients, cheese, wood fired tomato sauce, dough, honey's and chutney. As well all the staff are the friendliest and very attentive. Grazie Mille!
