Nice places but not safe as security let anyone in

Well run and neat establishment, one of the best complexes I have seen in Cape Town. The new extention is fitted out with a heat pump hot water system.

The flats are really nice. Besides for the security guards that refuse to wear their masks.

My biggest mistake was moving into this place. I’m going into my second week of living at Bothasig housing with no hot water. I have already payed my 3months deposit including the hot water. I now have to keep making other arrangements to keep me and my family hygiene up to standard . It’s absolutely ridiculous that we have to live like this I have a 9 month old baby that loves to play around and get dirty. for her health I have to boil kettles of hot water ( wasting money on electricity) in order for her to be clean.Bothasig housing is an absolute disappointment. I wish I had never chosen them to begin with. Never have I ever lived like this. I have tried calling maintenance, I contacted Head Office and the project manager but no results from them.I hope someone sees this and will be able to fix it.

The area is good but the maintenance on the flats is sub-par at best. Alot can still be done, to make it a better living environment

Used to be a great place for the elderly. Now it has lots of bad things happening inside the place, drugs, theft and the older people have to make sure their stuff is lock away. They are building new flats for low cost housing which is great but where are the children going to go to school, they are already full, and they need to screen the people better. Why should my dad pay so much for a small room with a kitchen all in one, on a government pension and there are people paying a hell of a lot less for a two bedroom flat.There is going to be trouble in this once beautiful complex.

Everytime I go visit there the security change their rules and you never know which gate is being used to enter or exit. Sometimes u sign in and sometimes u dont
