Bookings for the snorkelling adventure was easy and quick. The guide was amazing and really gave a lot of info on the fish and Cape Vidal.

We really enjoyed our Kosi Bay Experience with the cultural tour by a local Tonga guide. We learnt about the Fishing Kraals and the Mangroves, kayaked, snorkel led and had a fish braai. What a wonderful day!! We also snorkeled at Cape Vidal with these guys and it was absolutely amazing. So well organised, really responsive. Would HIGHLY recommend using Safari and Surf to add adventure to your North Coast trip!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience with Rick and his team. We went canoeing earlier in the morning with his guides, which was an amazing start to the day and provided a real appreciation of the beauty and allure of the lakes. The snorkeling was equally appreciated as a learning experience for our family. These moments are what memories are made of. Rick and his team epitomized the relaxed coastal culture whilst still being knowledgeable and fun to be with

Rick and Elise took us on a Snorkeling Adventure in Kosi Bay mouth! What an absolute amazing experience!!! We saw so many fish species and their knowledge of the area is amazing! Anyone visiting Kosi Bay I can recommend Safari and Surf definitely!!! We had an amazing 10/10 experience!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with just awesome snorkelling views in what is suitably called the Aquarium" in Kosi Bay. I have never seen so many species of beautiful fish when snorkelling in my life. The experienced locals Rick and Elise were perfect guides with lots of knowledge of the reef and the area in general

We went snorkeling at Cape VidalIt was a amazing experience! The guides were top class, making sure we were comfortable and showing us all the interesting things we would have missed otherwise.More photos of the adventure would just be an added bonus⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had an excellent day organized by Safari & Surf. We booked two experiences at Kosi Bay: First snorkeling at Kosi Bay Mouth and afterwards a canoe tour on the lakes that connect to the mouth. Apart from these specific tours, I recommend Safari & Surf more generally for their professionalism and service. Regarding the specific tours: During the snorkeling you can expect to see heaps of colorful fish. Also some more dangerous ones like stone fish, fire fish, and some eel fish. You are with an experienced guide who will point out the fish (stone fish are very difficult to spot) and name them for you and also take care of your safety. During the canoeing you will learn about traditional fish traps, mangroves, and other cultural aspects and traditions you can ask your guide about. Apart from that it is a very peaceful experience. We were lucky with the timing such that the sun was already standing a bit low and shed a beautiful light on the lakes. All in all, we were stunned how beautiful (and highly photogenic) the Kosi Bay mouth area is.A lesson learnt for us (unrelated to Safari & Surf but instead on Google Maps): we had some troubles with google maps guiding us “short cuts” from the park entrance at Kosi Bay Lake (where you need to get your national park permit) to the park entrance at Kosi Bay mouth. Best advice: Strictly stay on the “big” streets (i.e. the dirt road).

Beautiful and such an insightful experience ! Even though the weather did not play along, you still made sure that we were able to experience as much as possible with the snorkelling and kraal fish traps / palm wine and delicious fish Braai! Thank you

My son and I did the snorkeling, kayaking and bird walks with Safari and Surf in January 2021. All the activities were amazing. The snorkeling at both St Lucia and Kosi Bay was fantastic and the guides were extremely professional. Even though I was a novice snorkeler, I did not feel the least bit nervous with them and enjoyed every second. The kayaking with Vusi at Kosi Bay was also a stunning experience. His knowledge of the lake system and the Thonga life was incredible and extremely interesting. We really want to go back and do it all again. In St Lucia we did a bird walk with Ian. He was absolutely brilliant. His knowledge was fantastic and his ability to do the bird calls was impressive. We saw several species that were on our most wanted" list. At Kosi Bay the weather took a turn for the worse and we couldn't complete our bird walk. However
