I've been a client of Cybersmart's for 14 or 15 years (ADSL) and have received nothing but the best service from them. Whenever I've had issues, they've always been because of faults with my Telkom line; Cybersmart tests the line and logs the fault, and these have almost always been resolved fairly quickly by the Telkom/Openserve technicians. Also, Cybersmart keeps me apprised of upcoming work that may affect customers, but I have never been negatively impacted by this.Last, but not least, I would like to commend their call centre agents for being unfailingly helpful, knowledgeable and cheerful :). Two of my recent interactions have been with Daryl (both times for Telkom faults), and it is his excellent assistance and attitude that prompted me to write this review. He's such an asset to the company. I'll definitely be using Cybersmart for fibre when I migrate to that service in the next month or so.

I had been a client of Cybersmart for over 2 years. Upon leaving my apartment they did not receive my cancellation email and insisted on charging me 2 months additional worth of internet access. I understood that they would take a 1 month cancellation fee as they seem to have not received my email, but 2 months is ridiculous. I would not recommend them- customer service is quite bad and their accounts department is very rude and unreliable.

I’m highly disappointed at a 5 day old client! I wasn’t informed on installation charges billed R1499 just to put fiber lining whereas other providers it’s free woke up to a debit order of almost R3000 the shock and filled with regret.. The worst internet service provider I have used in SA for the past 6 years what a scam. The only reason I switched from webAfrica is because my building only allows them at this point a wireless router is ideal. What I’m the Lords name is this day light robbery at its best

Beware they WILL charge R2 000 installation/reconnection once off fee and they do not inform you about this.Furthermore, they add additional R750 for bringing their own router.You could pay up to R4 000 just for reconnection. Only reason i went with them because my estate doesn't allow anyone else otherwise I would consider this a SCAM and FRAUD company.

sorting our my correct address was not straighforward as the position shown on the map wasnt correct, I had to ignore this and proceed to upgrade/downgrade until confirmation of address was requested. i found it misleading. Very quick subsequently though

I would think twice before using this company to host your website, or anything for that matter. They are constantly experiencing issues with their servers and their downtime is a joke.When you ask their support staff on WhatsApp when the website will be up, they'll tell you there is no ETA."DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR HOSTING!!!"

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.Extremely slow. Spotty connection. Connection drops multiple times per day. I'm unable to take work calls via MS Teams from home because of this. You don't get what you pay for. Rip-off of note. No response to enquiries and request for assistance via website and WhatsApp Chat consultants answers are that I need to contact a wifi specialist. Pathetic

Based on the response below:I was not going to remove the rating until the issue was resolved (which hasnt been resolved). I've given you guys the benefit of the doubt but the constant its vumatel and not us" blame game without solutions is ridiculous. Turn around times are slow and "certain" service reps are condescending and rude. I rely on the net to be up for work purposes

Service has gone down the drain. Fiber's been functional for less than half of the past two business days. Their WhatsApp account just blue-ticks messages. Their call centre doesn't answer calls. By email, they only respond hours after issues are resolved (and then with no details of the fault). Time to switch.

Absolute Brilliant. Should be the best ISP of the Year.I sighed up online, very simple sign-on process, and within 24 business hours I received an email saying my line had been activated and Wi-Fi had been set up remotely. It was the quickest , most hassle free service I have ever received.MUCH better than another so called “ISP of the year” that take 2 weeks to reply via email and still can’t get it right the first time. Package is extremely cheap and faster than the competition. Cybersmart in Atlantic Seaboard don’t get enough praise. Very well done guys. My first experience and certainly the best I’ve ever had after dealing with 3 other major ISPs.
