Lovely hotel , 10/10 for decor, hospitality, food, service . Nice little gem.

This place is nothing short of amazing. The staff, amenities, and service was absolutely outstanding. They were extremely attentive and accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I highly recommend and would return, no question

Lovely spa BUT.....We booked treatments for 7 ppl which included:4 x 60 min full body massages + 60 min QMS facials1 x couple romantic escape (30 min steam room, 45 min foot treatment and 90 min full body massage)1 x mini facial (child)1 x pedi (child)All treatments were to start at 10am and end by 13h30 latest.All the treatments except the romantic escape were done and kept to time.After the 30 min steam room, we waited 20mins (the therapist told me i must wait as she is busy with my child's buff and shine, we can relax so long). We were then taken out of the room to have the foot treatment outside. The foot treatment was lovely and was exactly 45mins. Thereafter we waited for 50 minutes for a room for the full body massages. Note, the other guests who accompanied us were done by this time already. We obviously couldn't expect them to wait an additional 90 mins for us as we were supposed to be ALL done at the same time. We decided to speak to Elaine the SPA manager and cancel the additional 90 mins.After the excuses about US being DELAYED"

This is such a unique and beautiful property. The staff is beyond amazing as is the food. It is immaculate and the rooms are spectacular. I only wish we could have stayed longer. What a treat. Highest recommendation from a world traveler.

What an absolute treat ! I booked the same day for the Penthouse suite for a romantic get-away. It was everything and more. Service is impeccable and you are treated like royalty from the moment you arrive. The decor in the hotel is unique and opulent. The heated pool and gardens are incredible. The service and quality of food for both dinner and breakfast could not be faulted. And the pianist at dinner was so special. But our suite : perfect. There was a huge private terrace with the perfect balance of sun and shade. A delightful jacuzzi, sun loungers and an outdoor covered lounge. On the other side of the suite was an outdoor area with outdoor shower and spa bath. Above the bed was a skylight that painted the room with natural light. It can be closed at night. A complimentary minibar with soft drinks and water was appreciated. It was a night that I did not want to end. It felt like we were in another country. This is a perfect first night of a honeymoon, or a special place for an anniversary. It was just what we needed to escape, turn off our phones and enjoy our special time together. You have to walk 2 flights of steps to get to the apartment so only suitable for mobile guests. Can't wait to return.. .

We enjoyed a meal for a special family occasion. The food and ambiance was superb. A special thanks to the pianist for making our evening even more memorable.

This has been one of the most exceptional hotel experiences we have had. We enjoyed the amazing hospitality of each employee, the intimate grounds, the menu selections and service and more.Location: nestled in a beautiful neighborhood lined with Jacaranda trees, upon arrival you’re greeted by grounds security. The complex keeps intimacy and security in mind with their guests and this was a great touch.Rooms: Enchanted and historic. The bath tubs and outside showers are a delightful. They offer complementary sherry, sodas and light snacks. Upgraded plugs are wonderful for USB dependent technologies. Indoor bathrooms share an elevated style and the jumbo towels and robes are a nice touch.Grounds: multiple pools, flowering plants, oriental rugs. This place takes the South Africa breeze and uses it to create a dreamlike paradise of warm breezes and gently floating petals falling around you. Their rooms are open and spacious and creative for the design of the hotels.Service: from beginning to end is undeniably executed with a 5-star frame of mind. Careful, courteous, and thoughtful each of the staff persons have gone above and beyond what has asked without a slight feeling of imposition. They were even able to accommodate when our flights were cancelled last minute. Their flexibility ease of serving and assurance was very welcomed in that stressful time
