Leather Doctor

Steven Naidoo does not deliver on his invoiced and paid jobs. I was quoted R45 000 to recover 2 couches and 2 ottomans. The deposit was R36 000, which I paid on 26 October 2022. Steven's invoice stated that the job will take 21 days. Every time I asked for feedback, he said the job was getting done and that he is a good Christian. In December, he said the suppliers of the leather were closed. We then agreed on FINAL Delivery on 27 Jan 2023 with regular feedback and pictures. I kept requesting feedback and pictures. He always stalled. On the 24th of January 2023.Steven Naidoo from Leather Doctor sent me pictures of my couches stripped of the old fabric and sponge, but none of the couches orottomans were recovered. He then stated that a lawyer would be in contact with me on 26 January 2023. Till today, I have not received a lawyers letter, my couches and ottomans, or THE R36 000 THAT HE TOOK FROM ME. I have since opened a case,but I want to make sure that people know of this experience and avoid losing their hard earned money.To today , 9 February 23, I have not received any feedback from STEVEN NAIDOO FROM LEATHER DOCTOR even though he said that lawyers would contact me. I contacted him daily, asking him for my money back.. it is MY hard earned money, after all. Do business with Steven Naidoo at your own peril. I will update regularly.I am so glad that the lady below was not robbed of her money. I see she does not state which year he completed her job. It's almost been 4 months since I handed my money R36 000 in exchange for upholstery that should have taken 21days.( on 26 October 22) to STEVEN NAIDOO FROM LEATHER DOCTOR. I have beeninconvenienced may times with inadequate seating due to this. Surly, NO job that was meant to take 21 days takes 4 months!!! I just want my money back. He failed to deliver as per invoice and failed to deliver as per extended agreement. He has been given more than enough time and is in breach of the contract. STEVEN GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK.Steven Naidoo has stolen my money. To today 03 March 23 he still has not paid back R36 000 that he accepted on 26 October 22 as a deposit for a job.Steven Naidoo claims that he has never stolen anything from anyone!!! He is a liar and a thief. To today 3 JUNE 2023 HE HAS STILL NOT GIVEN ME MY R36 000 BACK!!! HE CLAIMED HE WOULD HAVE MY COUCHES READY BY END OF MAY 2023!!!I STILL WAIT!!! DONT BELIEVE A WORD THAT COMES OUT OF THIS MANS MOUTH!!! HE HAS R36 000 OF MY MONEY SINCE OCT 22 AND HAS NOT BOTHERED TO PAY A CENT BACK.. DISGUSTING BUSINESS ETHIC!!Unscrupulous!!!

I requested Steven to do upholstery on my chaise lounge sofa, 3 seater couch , they were collected on the 5th December and were to be delivered i January when I came back from holiday but because of discontinued fabric I had to chose the fabric again on my return. I was initially frustrated but decided to be calm because he was communicating with me. Today I received my stunning piece pieces of furniture and I am excited! Thank you Steven and you team for excellent workmanship! The waiting is gone and I am proud and excited with my brand new looking items
