Exceptional. Apart from the breathtaking nature, the owners and friends working on the farm just made the visit so amazingly special. Such a peaceful place where you get to explore nature in its purest form. The hosts are so generous with their time and always willing to have a chat. They made us feel very welcome. We stayed in Die Skoolmeester cottage. The bed is extremely comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom and shower will not disappoint. There's a heater, aircon, electric blankets and WiFi. Highly recommended!!

A wonderful secret place in the Northern Province.Outstanding experience of food, hospitality, canyons and bush.A one night layover enroute from the Richtersveld to Cape Town turned into 2 days of delight.Loved this place and the people.

Nigramoep is situated in a floral kingdom with an everlasting sky.Namakwaland in all it’s richness. Real food, genuine mensches, vistas that reach to heaven and plants with names like “Botterboom” and “Suikerkannetjie”.Here Mother Nature gardens with no restraint or rules. From the smallest microscopic little flower fighting for a chance to seed, to the countless species of pelargonium parading their pinks and purples.Thank you to the ENTIRE Nigramoep team, and in particular Johanna and Suzette for showing us the splendour of the Schaap Rivier Canyon.God willing, we will be back one day - soon.

Hospitality is out of this world. Food is excellent, and excursions are mind-blowing awesome. I'm hoping to go back soon

People make places interesting, this is a gem of a place with the warm Namakwalanders that creep into ones heart. A must to visit

I really like the words from other reviewers “old school hospitality”…this perfectly describes Marius, Johanna, Suzette and the other members of this extended family. Not only is Nigramoep a lovely farm, in beautiful surroundings, but this family are welcoming, kind and generous. Born and bred locals, they love their farm and their way of life. It’s impossible not to get drawn in and start thinking of ways you might copy a little piece of this paradise. After 3-days, my young children were calling Marius ‘grandpa’ and leaving was truly sad. We enjoyed a traditional Christmas braai and the stories will stay with us for many years. I honestly cannot speak more highly…the drive is long, but the destination is worth it. Trust me.
