pub on the one side, tea garden on the other and a childrens playground. Is this placed still called goodies for gardens? Think it is good for gardens, great place for meetngs, lunches, catch-up with friends or just to go to have a quite and relaxing break-away from everyone or everything. Oh yes, and a few nice little craft etc shops

Lovely pub. Nice for a quick drink, snack or full meal. Pizzas was devinely tasty and freshly baked. Adequite menu and some beers on tap.Bar stools and tables.Play area for kids and even some Putt-Putt.5 Stars would need all beer in stock and a barman paying less attention to the TV.

What a pity.Goodies used to be amazing 15+ years ago when i was a waiter there, Food was always amazing, and the best waiters.New owner, new menu, things just went down.Had a chicken schnitzel there and 1 little piece of chicken breast arrived on the plate.Waiters are slow, service is terrible and food is way over charged for the puny portions they give you.Sorry goodies, Don't know what happened, but it definitely is not an upgrade.

I was bitterly disappointed with this restaurant. We asked for 3 x cappuccinos with cream and they forgot the cream. We ordered a beef burger, the goodies burger (with mushroom sauce), the goodies pizza (with extra cheese and avo) and the mozambican chicken. My mother in law is highly allergic to potatoes and the chicken came with chips. We gave the waitress the instruction clearly and multiple times that the chips must please be on a separate plate and must not touch the chicken. The food arrived and the chicken was sitting on top of the chips. We asked for a new chicken and no chips. About 20 minutes later we saw the chicken being taken out of the microwave and brought to us on a new plate. The pizza was tasty but I was surprised that the avo was the bottle squeezy type and they put extra salami on instead of extra cheese. The burgers were average and the mushroom sauce tasted like blue cheese. Not impressed at all. It was sad that the waitress did not promote the carvary. There is no mention of it on the menu and we had already placed our orders by the time we saw it. When we asked our waitress why she didn't tell us about it she responded that the other server is responsible for promoting it not her. The servers definitely need more training. The food is over priced for the quality you receive.

Absolutely disgusted on Tuesday morning 27 December. Everything we wanted was not available. Waited almost an hour only to discover our food still not ready even after the water advised it was on its way.Paid R50 for the 2 bottles of water we had and left.Certainly won't see us there again. No managers available......

Our experience here was great. It is a stunning place and the restaurant is beautiful. The food in general was delicious. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the tacos. Our waitress wasn't the best and quite slow. It was also odd because we ordered dessert and it was served in takeaway containers. However, it was some of the best Panna cotta I've had! Would definitely recommend coming here. There's also a lot of space for kids to play
