Always like to take a bit of a detour on our way to Cape Vidal to check out sea turtle and other creatures from the cliffs. Pity the ablution facilities are not properly maintained and serviced!

Incredible views of the estuary & a very well built stairway & walking area to get up to the lookout.My only suggestion is to trim the trees in the opposite facing direction so you can get uninterrupted views of the ocean as well which is parallel to the estuary.

You can see almost the whole park from here and it is a beautiful sight. The stairs need a bit of maintenance though with the sand washed away and can be a bit strenuous to climb to the high lookout point. The lower lookout point is to some extent wheelchair friendly.
