You park almost next to the shipwreck. Something to see if you like old things. No info boards, so read on internet before you go.

The drive there is quite bumpy ... road heavily corrugated. Nice spot to take a picture ir two. The braai facilities seem nice, but it was cold and windy so we declined the offer

Our first shipwreck. Drive out wasn't too bad. It's isolated and our trip was about 70kms of dirt road. Dirt road was in decent condition, no massive holes, wash outs or ruts. Here and there just your standard corrugations. A non event in an offroader with suitable tyre pressures.Isolation makes it the perfect destination.In town, Try out the smaller restaurants. The fancier one isn't always better, they just advertise more

There is so much history at this place, from the crimson covered beach at which the Aristea lays, all the way to where it was sunk. If you like museums, the do visit this living one that a person can see, smell, touch and even taste if you are brave enough...
