Beautiful sunny day meeting up with one of my besties Ronel and her family. The setting outside Jakes was shady from the beautiful trees. Dog friendly and kid friendly. Our waitress Lulu was friendly, professional and attentive. We had the Sugarbird Shrub double gin cocktail with grapefruit, cinnamon, peppercorns and the Sugarbird Berry with pink tonic, blueberries and strawberry at an affordable R85. I once again had the Black and Blue burger which comes with a side of either fries, sweet potato fries, side salad or bunless if want the healthier option which is served on a salad. It was delcious and juicy and the blue cheese sauce was oozing all over the caramelised onions plus onion rings- highly recommend. Cost R170. My friend had the quinoa salad with an additional R45 to add free range chicken which was a big portion and definitely needed the protein. Jakes is on the slightly pricey side but worth spending that little extra. They do have a Under R100 lunch special to cater to everyone's budget. Decor is stunning and definitely worth taking a selfies.

My first visit. Hope to return.Absolutely cannot find fault except only one soup on the menuWould be nice to have a choice on a cold autumn evening, however, my Mexican Bean Soup did not disappoint.My friend enjoyed his meal, especially the dessert afterwards.

Food was delicious, was my first time at the restaurant tonight. Only one thing put me off, I waited over a hour and 20 mins for my food, my girlfriend had her birthday supper and we got a table reserved for the family and friends, that was the only downer, waiting more than a 1 and 20 mins for our food, Im not sure if load shedding has to do with this but I was getting very hungry and frustrated, the place was full. Nice setup, nice atmosphere, and the waiters are extremely helpful and friendly. I'm definitely going to try them out again, because by far I think that was the best burger I had tasted in my life!

The food is so good.But it took quite a bit for out order to be taken, nearly missed out on the lunch special, then after ordering waited nearly an hour only to receive almost cold food.But the atmosphere is very relaxed.Good for a lunch date or date night.

Absolutely fantastic! It was our last night in Cape Town and Jake's topped every single restaurant we visited during our holiday! From our drinks to our mains and an Absolutely fabulous deep fried ice cream dessert we cannot fault a thing. Definitely a must, 12/10 from us!

Second time at Jakes in the Village, and must definitely share my experiences. The lamb curry was delicious, the salmon dish was mouth watering delicious. My husband had the steak the first time and the second time the Pork Belly. He felt that he can make a better pork belly, but he destroyed that huge strawberry milkshake, and was upset with me for taking some of that creamy dreamy milkshake.

Have always loved Jakes in the Village, miss the original in Kenilworth and love Noordhoek. Some great winter specials on at the moment. R99 for an American cheese burger , onion rings and chips. Food was amazing, service was from the top drawer.
