Unbelievable group of vets! Absolutely blown away by how good they are. A special mention to Dr Rowena, who saved my cat Iezie. She had a condition that is almost unheard of in cats, but Dr diagnosed it, recommended surgery, and she was spot on.Without these incredible people, Iezie certainly would have died a terrible death.I just got home with Iezie, and although exhausted, she is happy. A far cry from the cat that could barely walk from pain and was begging me to help her.My heartfelt thanks to all involved ❤️

My pup seems happy with the service, just the lack in communication from the reception staff sucks! They took my little one to the back to change bandage, an hour and a half later and they still hadn’t started, so he was locked in a cage unnecessarily.

We had a very weird experience with Jhb Specialist vet. Our cat was hit by a car, and we were battling to get her seen by a specialist. We were super thankful that they accommodated us and could see us after a week of us looking for help for our kitty.We were quoted R25k for surgery and was advised they do not do payment plans. We agreed then that we would send her for a ct scan to determine the extent of the damage. She was taken through and I went to settle the bill. Upon reaching the counter, I was told I need to pay a deposit of R20k! I expressed that this is unreasonable, what middle class citizen can fork out R20k in the blink of an eye. She hadnt even had the ct scan yet. I was then told the standard surgery deposit is R12k - which I still didnt have! Very few people have that kind of disposable income at hand. I refused to pay and said I will only pay for the service I received that day and the ct scan. Once we got the ct scan results back, I requested it to be sent to other vets for a second opinion - something wasnt sitting right. I fetched our kitty and took her to our local vet while we figured things out. We ended up taking her elsewhere, and found out that there was an alternative to surgery - she didnt have to even go under the knife. Her pelvis was shifted back into place normally, they provided her with medication, 4 nights accomodation and take home meds all for under R2000! Imagine we didnt get a second opinion.

Wow, wow, wow!Extremely professional, well trained and helpful staff.Dr. Rowena Watson is one of a kind. Our cat was on the brink of death and she brought him back to life with her vast amount of knowledge!Thank you to everyone who looked after our boy so well during his stay!You are all awesome!

Very professional, organized and experienced. My dog was treated very well and they went out of their way to assess, test and diagnose effectively. Lots of food stock as well including useful supplies like pet eye wipes.

Amazing vets, warm atmosphere. Highly recommend them for a specialist consult for your furbaby

Went there for the first time. Experience was just ok.Positive: one of the vets picked up a growth that I didn't know my dog had. She arranged for my dog to have surgery the next dayNegative: The same vet was not around when I had to collect my dog and the replacement was not clear with feedbackWill go back and update here accordingly

No updates on the condition of my pet after 24hours. Busy practise with seemingly little time to really help your pet , the info that my vet gave me was the same and apart from them having a CT scan which makes them sought after because of their equipment but not preferred. Not recommended at all.

Once op was done and paid (28k) for staff were pretty narfy. Took an hour from the time they set for someone(not the vet) to go through post op and recovery procedure and even that discussion was one of half answers and we need to get to our next patient.

From the moment you enter the practice you and your pet are treated with respect, dignity and kindness. Our consultation with Dr David Miller was incredibly thorough and accurate. This incredible doctor listened carefully to a detailed history and took time to discuss his clinical findings in depth, and the reasons he came to a diagnosis. I cannot thank Dr Miller enough for finally making a diagnosis which makes sense and correct treatment prescribed. We are lucky to have a doctor of this caliber to attend to our beloved pets.
