Casa Mar Fish &Take aways

Stopped at Casa for the first time only yesterday. This is not your run-of-the-mill Fish 'n Chips/Takeaways shop. The owner takes pride in his place - it's clean, smells awesome and treats his staff with great respect. A lot of effort has been placed in offering his customer meals that have a little something special infused with it.But to be honest, this place's chicken fingers/strips - WOW! He's perfected his own recipe for the spiced, crumbed coating and the flavor carries through in the quality of the awesome, well loaded (crumbed chicken strips, bacon and cheese) burger and chips. While you're out on the road seeing clients or heading to Vincent Palotti Hospital, divert your route so you can make a stop here...you won't regret it.

I ate a burger for the first time today and it was amazing ! Wednesday special is two burgers with chips for R69. It definitely worth every penny !

Service and food is always great! I've never been dissatisfied or disappointed. Pretty affordable and tasty take-aways.

My first time as a takeaway customer & I was impressed with the apparent sterile cleanliness of the facility. Service was friendly & accommodating. The bacon, egg & cheese sandwich was great & not costly. I will go back, even if its out of my way.

Probably the best chips i've ever had. The price, size and selection of spices and sauces available per portion make these chips the best. I have seen bags of real raw potatoes being delivered and I'm pretty sure they are the real deal and prepped and cooked on site. No Mr Chip van delivering frozen rubbish. Real hand peeled and cut chips made perfectly. +-R25 will get enough for 2-3 people but you won't want to share them.

This place needs to be exposed! Its a criminal offence to sell such good food. Fish melts in your mouth, the cheese grilled has cheese from end to end, the chips are fresh, the spice is amazing on the chips. You need to eat here, great pricing, value for money, more value.

This was my favourite lunch stop for years. It's now suddenly Halal ie. ruined. AVOID. And when are we going to stand up for the majority here? Where does this halal steamroller stop? What about the rest of us?

This place has been there for a while and up until recently only found out they are halaal and they're food is awesomeness totally loved it and the friendliness is above and beyond I'd recommend anyone to go there for a takeaway

Disappointed and dissatisfied to find out that the food is now halal. They should call it something else because this is no longer Casa MarSafe to say I'm never coming back here again
