Sunsets in Africa

Absolutely incredible!!! I booked a 3 week long trip to South Africa with my mom through Dexter’s and Gladys’ company African Sunsets Travel. African Sunsets Travel put together a trip where we went to Johannesburg, a Safari in Kruger National Park, Zimbabwe, and Cape Town. We stayed at the most beautiful 5 star hotels with all the amenities we could ask for, right in the heart of each city. During our Safari we also saw all of the Big 5.Now for Dexter and Gladys. I could not have asked for a more accommodating and professional team to set up our trip. They were available 24/7 and ready to answer any questions we had. Once in Cape Town, both Dexter and Gladys personally came to pick us up from the airport and escort us to our hotel. They are the nicest people and so passionate and incredible at what they do. There is no one who I think could have done a better job.If you’re going to South Africa, be sure to book with African Sunsets Travel because your entire trip will be taken care of and no detail over looked. Just enjoyed a 2 week adventure with Sunsets in Africa, starting in Cape Town and travelling to Kruger, Victoria Falls and Botswana. From the first inquiry to the final drop off at the airport, Dexter and his team were professional and responded promptly to any questions or requests. The itinerary was ideal for a first time trip to the region with the guides ensuring we experienced the best each stop had to offer. One of the highlights was definitely the Train on the Bridge Lodge in Kruger. Would not hesitate to recommend with Sunsets in Africa.

Our recent trip with African Sunset Travel was great to say the least. My friend and I went on “The Private Great Namibia Escape” tour with our guide John (Kangenga) and it was the most amazing, divers, funniest, flexible and fantastic experience. We saw so many different places and animals, met the loveliest people, collected unforgettable memories and had a great private adventure. John always made the best out of everything, helped and explained a lot and we laughed so much - we really became friends. Wonderful opportunity to learn about Africa, the history, the beauty and the culture. Dexter, the guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about not only the culture, but the animals and flowers. He was very excited to share about his life both in South Africa and Zimbabwe. We traveled with him from Cape Town to Durban, to eSwatini to Johannesburg to Krueger to Zimbabwe. All the accommodations were amazing, the music and dancing were fantastic , and Dexter is fantastic at organizing everything. As a female traveler, I felt safe. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to learn about the history, beauty and the culture of South Africa.
