This is the worst shop I’ve ever encountered. I ordered and bought a camera over 7 months agoAnd still have not be given my camera. They are liars and conArtists. It’s been over 7 months and I also havnt recieved my refund of R7000 for anOld camera I sold through them. The worst deal I’ve ever made. Never ever do deals with this company.

Avoid at all costs. This place is awful. The owner is who helped me and he ripped me off price-wise, plus messed up the job and took 5 days longer than promised. Here’s what happened.I went in looking to have some 35mm film developed and also to buy more 35mm film. I ordered two sets of prints and 2 rolls of film. He made me pay ~1100 rand in advance (insane price, but it’s local and I was there already). He didn’t have stock of the film but said it would arrive next day, prints would take 3-4 days. The film didn’t come for 2 more days, and then only one roll. Way worse, the prints were ‘done’ 8 days later, but when I went to pick them up, they had only digitized them, not printed them. The owner wasn’t there, but the manager said he could print them for me. I agreed and it took another 20 minutes, but when I got home and looked at them, they are not professional quality from 35mm film, they are prints of bad quality digital images on bad quality paper. Total rip off. I now need to go somewhere else with the film and get it actually developed. Don’t bother going here - the owner is a joke and doesn’t fill any promise he makes.

I had business cards printed here. They charged me R385 to print and cut 200 cards. This is close to twice the amount I'd previously paid at Postnet Sea Point. I expected the same quality (at a minimum for that price). The cards I received we printed on something barely thicker than paper. I wouldn't go so far as to call them business cards. I probably shouldn't have just assumed I'd get something good for the price but I wasn't expecting something so far below standard.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Needed photo’s printed and was given attitude by the staff member helping me, and was questioned as to why I wanted photos of a particular size printed.

I spoke to the store and they said they were closing early at 3pm. I showed up at 2 and they were closed. If they would have been honest about the time they were closing I could have made a plan to go somewhere else.

This is honestly the worst shop I’ve ever been to. The owner makes empty promises and never delivers. From delayed film (almost two weeks when I was told it would take 4 days to develop), to unfulfilled promises of a refund. I don’t know what they did to my film but they completely messed up the colour. Kodak colour+ always comes out beautifully, for some reason when it was developed here it was dull and brown. Waste of time and money. Rather make the mission to Tothills- cheaper, faster and 1000x better. This place disappoints everyone.

Treslyn went the extra mile for me when my printer packed up. Getting a new one replaced and delivered personally to my home. Would definitely recommend Foto First.
