Ethekwini Municipality Electricity Faults Depot

Absolutely shocking. Call centre numbers don't work. Total of 5hrs today without power. Comes on after loadshedding and off again 5mins later....Shame on you Municipality and Eskom...and my bill is up to date....paying for the electricity thieves and the municipality thieves...

It's gone more the 12 hours now in Durban Central and we have no lights . The people at this call center just don't answer. When it comes time to pay they are quick to send letters of demand but to service the people . Absolutely frustrating

Always pathetic service and that's me being absolutely honest. It's always a long wait before I get through (10-20 mins) and the agents have a don't care attitude. Sometimes, I don't even get through after waiting 15-20 mins. If I could provide a zero" or negative rating

Lights were off in Morningside today and the technicians were out late at night to sort out the problem. They even called my husband to check. Thank you. This is great service from the municipality! Please continue to set this precedent.

Please advice what is really the issues in Regency Park, Grassmere Drive. Ever second day we have power outrage. This takes more that six hours each time it happens. Worst place on earth. We haven't had electricity for 4 day now, literally ridiculous. Nothing but lazy bustards. No one picks up the phone, only music place in background. If I could give a minus rating I would.

Had a great experience. Called with a fault. Tech called back in less than 2 minutes and sent someone out within an hour. Stoked

Terrible service. Kindly note we pay or rates and taxes. We have a right to address our concerns and problems. How can we do this if are not reachable.

If could give a negative rating at this point I would, you know the call center agent's have no sense of urgency nor a care in the world that you are experiencing a challenging situation. I get that they receive a lot of calls but the way they treat your emergency is non existent that after holding forever for assistance. I recently had to follow up on a call for a pensioner who had been out of electricity for over 36 hours and had been calling the call center countless times. Only to find when I call and used the very reference number she had been using there had been no record of her repeated attempts. In South Africa with the crime the way it is, this is really unacceptable. What's worse when I requested to escalate the matter the lady became hostile and told me at first it can't be done, probing a bit more I get a complaint email because the late shift did not have any supervision.You really wonder why we pay for services non delivery because it's really no service
