King's Laundry

WARNING - consider another place.In short:Had my clothes washed and folded. Noticed that they only use tumble dryer for drying clothes. I cannot comment on what they did, but received my clothes back both shrank and white shirts coloured.Read more:I'm a believer in giving someone the opportunity to correct their wrongs. I've contacted King's Laundry after receiving some of my clothes back shrank and my white shirts blue/grey (refer to the photo). Upon this communication I received feedback stating that they have a R200 liability limitation, on which I responded that I would not recommend it. The owner (I guess) Sune gave me a call to discuss this on which she informed me that it is the onus of the client to inform them of how to wash / treat the clothes. I do not agree with this as washing instructions" does exactly this. She responded by saying that they do not have the time to read the instructions. So Sune asked me to bring back my clothes to try and stretch them (they cannot comment on what happened to my white clothes except for they wash light clothes with light clothes). I've taken my clothes to the store to Colette. Arriving 15 min before closing time I was clearly not the highlight of her day - and she made it very clear. They've managed to stretch my clothes back by 80% - to be honest I did not care at this stage and just took my clothes to get this behind me.+ Sune at least made contact with me and tried to fix the problem after sharing a few words- They've made it clear that they disagree with meService might be quick

Very efficient and friendly service

I just called attempting to get quotes about our guesthouse potentially becoming a longterm client and whoever answered the phone was exceptionally unprofessional, couldn't give me even the vaguest bit of help, kept interrupting and speaking over me and even whispered oh my g*d" under her breath when I tried to explain details for what I would be looking for."
