Great for family walks. Not to strenuous for kids under 3.Not many things can trump a morning hike here with a fresh smell of the forest.Pet friendly as well.

Easy hike, although very quiet which could make it dangerous. Also had baboons waiting on my car once I finished the hike.Very peaceful and scenic hike with lots of shade.

The name doesn't do it justice, this is the Garden of Eden! Most beautiful forest with masses of wild mushroom species, beautiful footpaths under tree canopies, lots of birds singing and a magnificent Poplar Tree Forest currently dropping beautiful yellow leaves on the Forest floor. A must see!!

My favourite hike and so close to Hout Bay. When you are in the forest it feels like you are in another world. Really cool to see the different wildlife.

Lovely place to walk. I hope the rest of the pine trees are removed soon. I saw this little garden for the first time today (Feb 2023)

What a beautiful walk! It's a relatively easy hike, just ensure you wear shoes with proper grip as it can get a little slippery in places. Highly recommend!
